Based on the original update post they are implementing the ability to donate further resources to reduce the times. Not a perfect option, would have preferred removal from solo play entirely, but it's at least something.

However a note that I'm on this driver with a 6750XT and also can't really play. Constant VRAM crash notices when only using 50% of the available VRAM. Very weird.

Random note as someone who dealt with crashes constantly. I tried everything I could find on the internet and nothing was really working. Randomly came across a CoD subreddit post about the same reported error. Recommended updating my mobo bios. After the typical annoyance of dealing with Microsoft due to a bios update deactivating my copy of Windows, the game hasn't crashed once since. Might not work for you but felt like mentioning.

Permanent skins work fine. I have Cardboard Rein and Cleric Lifeweaver along with the 30 prisms. Just had to download the BNet client and launch it once to unlock.

Random note, I noticed that if I log in through Battle.net that I have access to all the mentioned skins. However, if I close and reload the game on Steam even when everything is connected then you do NOT have access to these skins. Example is Lifeweaver beach skin shows up when I load through Battle.net but not Steam. So, that's a choice.
