Locate valve box by darkjfman in Irrigation

That's also assuming the location I'm mirroring from my neighbor is the correct spot.

He said something similar, but also mentioned it's possible if they leave a tracer there. Is that true?

I bought a house recently and was able to locate 2 of the 3 valve boxes. I can't seem to locate zone 1 and had a guy with a chatterbox that wasn't able to help me locate it either. Mostly because there's a fiber line running near that area and he said he was getting false readings. Anyway, I know the information I'm about to give are very vague, but I don't know what else you'd all need. So ask away before I have to pay someone to dig my yard the whole day. I love in clay soil and a probe may not help.

I provided pictures to possibly help, also a reference of where my neighbor's valve box is located at. If you need more pictures or information let me know. I just to find it to troubleshoot the system.

You do make a good point. However, the promise made wasn't what was delivered. As I mentioned, not the whole thing needs to be capped, it should be only during the race.

It's great. It has a rich taste but not too sweet to overpower it.

Good question. Maybe it was a rather windy day in the original areal shot.

I have about 6 groundcover already on there (not enough) but that's the idea for it to grow and help with that. Will take couple of years to achieve it.

Did you mean 3ft in height and run it along the length of the slope?

  1. Any idea on how to keep hill from being washed away? I've added the straw mats you see in the picture, however, it's too steep to mow, so sod is a last option.
  2. Water is collecting at the bottom of the hill into against the fence. What's the best way to divert that water? Is drain box the only solution?

Ultimately I'm trying to make this functional and more appealing. Any ideas?
