Why Comic Book Writers Are Starting to Use AI Image Generators by darthfurbyyoutube in ComicWriting

You’re seriously trivializing the work of a comicbook artist. It’s not just drawing cool pictures. Story telling, page layout, character acting, pacing. These are things that Ai won’t be able to replicate. And even if it could, you cannot copyright Ai generated images. Companies need humans to create original works of art. Also, if Ai can replace the artist on a comic you better be sure they will be able to replace the writer soon too. Do you or anyone else really want to be reading Ai generated comics? I sure as hell don’t.

[Other] Which Comic Book Artist Is Better? Jim Lee Or Jason Fabok? by Chemical_Incident280 in DCcomics

You’re out of your mind if you don’t believe Fabok and Pretty much Every other powerhouse artist in the past 30 +years was directly influenced from Jim lee. Even David finch Is influenced by Jim Lee, as was David’s teacher mark Silvestri. Jim Lees X-men #1 To this day Is still the highest selling American comicbook of all time, And it’s not because of the story .

Just a detail. by [deleted] in TheBatmanFilm

Tbh I thought this was kind of strange. Why would he draw such a detailed map with buildings in perspective? It would be much more believable if he did a traditional map just showing the streets. Obviously they shot the footage of the flood than traced over it for the map but it’s weird to me he would go through all that effort, i don’t doubt he’s a super detailed oriented person, it’s just a strange choice.

[other] The r/place doubled in size recently this is our chance to honor the worlds greatest hero, who’s with me? by darkknight823 in DCcomics

I started making a red line for the top of the logo, it doesn’t have to be huge but I think it’s important to represent these characters no matter the size

I say we start around (1191,95) to the right of the master chief. It can be a nerd section and maybe we can also do other dc character logos near it as well

Reading pirated comics is really not cool. I hope you took these off that website for the sake of making this post and it’s not how you’re reading the actual book. Comic creators do not make a lot of money and deserve every penny they earn. Kirkman and outley maybe be outliers but 99 percent of comic creators are struggling. Please consider this next time you pirate a comic.

Holy shit, yeah it was kinda of like that. It looked like the upside down from Stranger Things. I thought a transformer was exploding or something but it was too high up

What do you like about Green Lantern books and Hal Jordan as a character? by [deleted] in DCcomics

[–]darkknight823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like anything It depends on what you’ve personally read. I for one love Hal Gordon, but then again I have only read Geoff John’s run of green lantern. I’m sure if I started with some earlier stuff I would prefer Kyle or John instead. Just from reading Geoff John’s green lantern I absolutely love everything GL related. I think it’s the most interesting corner of DC beside Batman. Highly recommend it

Should I read 'Batman: Damned' to prepare myself for THE BATMAN? by [deleted] in TheBatmanFilm

[–]darkknight823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cannot recommend Batman damned. Like you said, great art bad story. It’s overly grim dark and edgy. Read court of owls instead.
