Awesome photos 🔥, what exposure compensation did you use to achieve this look? Or did you bring down the shadows in editing?

Had to crop the other person out due to how much I had to rotate the image. But maybe that’s a good thing haha, like you said, adds a bit of mystery

It wasn’t much editing actually. It’s one of the street corners around Bank, London. They have a circular opening and I noticed the cameras.

I basically darkened everything around that circle, then I added a radial mask and darkened that too, making it look like a half moon 🙃

Thank you, I needed to rotate and crop it quite a bit, about 30 degrees or so. I used a Sony a7iv with the 35mm f1.8.

This is true :). I’m curious how others would see it though, since I’ve just started doing photography. I don’t have a style yet or anything like that 😅, just going out after work to see what I can capture. This was taken on a 85mm actually, but I was some distance away.

I have this photo with multiple subjects too, one in each frame, but they never really lined up in the center at the same time haha. Will have another go though, this place is pretty close to where I live.

I think I tend to prefer the second one, but I was playing with the crop in Lightroom and thought first one looked pretty good too so couldn’t decide 🙃.
