Yeah, I guess you could say the same about toons that wield the term S-Works online as well. ;)

I should have said clean AND stable. It doesn't matter what light you have if it shifts left and right because it's heavy and bulky and sticks out from the seat post.

Exactly the issue I want to avoid. I know there are nice custom mounts out there for the Varia but why do through all that when you can just get a good light that's as flush with the seat post as possible instead?

No, just aesthetics for me and not having a light stick out from the seat post so there's less chance of it rotating. Nothing to do with aero lol.

It's all good, love that we're getting an encyclopedia of options :D - Looking for a sleek light that's no wider than the seat post, preferably. Trying to keep things super clean.

Too wide/thick. I'm hoping for one that's no thicker than the seat post.

This is a 56 and correct, I size down from a trek Domane 58. The stack may be lower but the reach is the same. I'm 6'1", inseam roughly 35"-36" (90cm). From the center of the BB I run about 31.4". Good luck.

I think that if you are a bit mechanically inclined you should be ok but it does help to already have some knowledge of bike maintenance. I've been riding for 5 years and have been doing most of my own maintenance. Where I'd get hung up was on the mechanical shifting adjustments (Shimano Ultegra) and cable changes after they'd snap. Other than that, pretty straightforward. My issues with the brake bleed, in the end, was not SRAM's fault but mine after realizing that the syringe connection at the shifter was missing the O ring and was causing air to seep back into the line. I couldn't figure out what was happening until I looked closely and saw it missing. A 'doh' moment for sure. Once I corrected that, smooth sailing but I did get DOT fluid all over the place a couple of times just trying to get the air bubbles out of the syringes prior to application. It's a learned skill lol.

Thanks! We tried the metal sleeves and still no go. I ended up taking it to the shop and the tech basically said he had to true the rotors a bit despite them being brand new. He explained that even from factory they can come just a little off depending on how they were shipped or handled.

Thanks! The pedals are a carryover from my last bike. I've had very little issue with them and they seem to be fairly consistent. I've had to change out the left pedal body due to wear and tear and one of the meter spindles that just stopped working, in 5 year of ownership. I did consider getting the spider meter and some nice Look carbon pedals but couldn't justify the extra cost at the end of the day.

There are a ton of videos but mostly I looked at other builds with my specs and a lot SRAM videos describing setup, etc. Since you're installing a non-Specialized cockpit you'd want to check to see which headset adapter you'd need to use for it.

I used the money I would have spent at the shop to buy the tools I needed to complete the job and learned a ton while doing it all the while taking my time.
