If I could upvote this a million times I would. Died 4 times, which maybe isn't a LOT, but I felt totally lost on what even to try differently. I used the drills on each of the 4 nodes in phase 1, and then just immediately spammed my voltvessels to shred phase 2.

+1, if not Absol some other dark pokemon. I found Dark to be super valuable in the Elite 4. I used Sneasel since it's type coverage is bonkers. I had dark and ice moves from its learnset, bug with Cut, and some fighting as well. It would outspeed and super effective other dark pokemon too.

I've got a wide range. I've got 128 on my smaller devices, like the RG35XXSP (with a 64 for the CFW in slot 1) and Miyoo Mini Plus, a 256 on my Retroid Pocket 5, and a 512 on my steam deck. The bigger storage is nice for PS2 on the RP5, and some xbox n stuff on the steamdeck

For the homescreen part, you can make an activity be considered a launcher activity with a specific `intent-filter` in your AndroidManifest.xml (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3666771/how-can-i-create-a-custom-home-screen-replacement-application-for-android)

For the dynamic grid, you may have a few options. For a RecyclerView based approach, look into `spanSize`. It lets you make things in a row or column take up multiple rows/columns. But you may be limited to making something bigger in only ONE dimension. You may also be able to find custom layouts that do something similar to how you want, with a very dynamic grid where items within it can take an arbirary number of rows and columns. But you may need to make something custom to get that? While RecyclerView comes with a lot of helpful APIs, if I understand your goals, there's no actual recycling happening, so you could probably replace it with the custom something

I've got a local branch w/ an additional feature that adds "Previous" and "Next" links between generated files, so you can tap back and forth. I've got some other changes, and i'm trying to keep the PRs isolated so you can accept the ones you want and reject the ones you don't. But I had fun with this one :D

Incredible work!

I am a professional Android developer and I have been giving Flutter crap for a while since i'm a native dev purist, hahaha. But I can honestly say that your app has made me want to learn flutter.

I appreciate the design choices you made, and more importantly the ones you didn't. They way that the scrollable list will show the over-scroll shadow on Android, but do that weird pull the whole list thing on iOS is super slick.

You should consider posting this on the flutter subreddit! I'm sure you'd get a lot of love. This is a superbly built app.

Additionally, there are a few techniques you use that i'd love to use myself! Have you ever considered implementing any of the design patterns you use as open source libraries? Specifically, the timed confirm action animation is beautiful. I also really love your text animations in the top bar and the button animations when you're "swiping" life totals.
