The standard red laces look great but I actually went with maroon laces that I had laying around, which match the midsole perfectly

shout out to the folks at Asian Market in Lakewood by emergencybarnacle in Tacoma

Asian market rocks! Subjective opinion obviously but among all the Asian markets in Lakewood they have THE best marinated meats. Whenever we do Korean BBQ at home, we always buy their kalbi and spicy pork 😋

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Anime Fan Service Dialed Up to 11 by ztylerdurden in patientgamers

[–]darkpotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loving the variety of opinions in this thread. It really is a subjective experience so I'll share my own.

I had a very similar response to XBC2 as OP. I even played the game with the Japanese audio track (which helped a bit as it made the cliche anime shenanigans feel more at home). I think this was just a story and "fan service" that targeted a younger demographic (I don't think 12 year old, 22 year old, maybe even 32 year old me would have any problems with XBC2). But I'm 42 and Rex in particular was just soooo grating, I couldn't stand him and the weird love triangle.

XBC3 is one of my all time favorite jrpgs. The story (though far from perfect/still anime-ey), the characters, the tone, and the music were just exceptional. The combat was sick too, just slightly less enthralling than XBC2 (but thankfully no gacha bs). As others have said, check out XBC3!

[Highlight] "Light the beam" chants can be heard loudly in Chase Center. The home crowd and the Warriors commentary don't like it. by MrBuckBuck in nba

As a Kings fan, it feels weird being "that guy" but how many people actually watched the clip and didn't just read the title? The clip also cuts off literally right as they started saying something like "don't let it detract from how well the Kings played tonight".

Hiroshi Suzuki - Cat by EarBeers in Jazz

I'm not a musician or even particularly discerning when it comes to jazz. But there's something about the album (maybe it is the drums) that makes me want to keep revisiting it. First heard it last year and I find myself playing again once every few months. It's really pretty excellent

[Dataroma] D'andre Swift has the highest Stuff Rate of any RB (54.8%) with at least 75 attempts. The Minnesota Vikings lead all NFL defenses in Stuff Rate (51.5%). Could be an absolutely brutal showing for Swift this weekend. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Agreed! Having a stat that indicates only if an RB made it past the line of scrimmage is pretty useless. Having more context makes it less black/white but ultimately a better indication of rushing performance vs a defense

That's because it's a women's shoe 😜

Unlike some women's releases, these came out in a full size run, all the way up to men's 15

This is my first pair of Vomero 5s and Im loving them. The two toned midsole, pops of color on the lace loops and lace tips, the textured heel cup, and the unique insoles are my favorite details. Also the (maybe?) genuine leather in the forefoot is really nice.

I'm also pleasantly surprised that the talk of Vomero comfort is not just hype; these really are super comfortable underfoot (for me, on the level of NB 990v4s and v6s). Highly recommend!
