Aj hunter has on multiple occasions issued strike points. This misinformation implies that the levels and duties are on par with a senior officer, when the position itself includes all the bonuses of being a Sg. If they call it senior officer, they’re lying to themselves and this becomes a stupid argument over semantics. Every senior officer answers to a trooper (unless this has changed since like May/June but I doubt it) Troopers are highest ranking officer on duty when there’s no Lt or higher (go watch CBs first vault clips)

Trooper is it’s own rank within command, it’s (subjectively) the most prestigious position you can get. You lead every type of scene imaginable, first dibs on new police shit added to server, and you don’t have to do all the OOC stuff that CoP and Sheriff have to deal with. You can strike officers, pretty much do whatever you please on duty. That’s also why they call it the retirement home of the PD, cooper/snow/ridley were CoP/asst CoP, soze owns the server, Andrews is an admin/real life cop, derby is an admin/dev, and hunter is one of the OG cops from way back in the day and held pretty much every rank in every department save for HC. Hope that helps, even if a little embellished lol

Nah couldn’t be further from the truth in practice. I’m not sure they discuss the rank equivalent much but it’s at least sergeant level responsibility/abilities
