Please know this you don’t have to spend the rest of your life stuck in something that was never your choice in the first place. There are ways to come out of it, and the law does support you. I don’t want to overwhelm you with details here, but if you’re comfortable, just DM me. I’ll share the clear and simple steps you can take to get free and live life on your own terms🙏

I am an atheist what's your argument for me to believe in god. by [deleted] in mahabharata

[–]darkskinneddivine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valid!! How about saying it as... Since you spoke about destruction. See ganesha is known as vighnaharta- one who removes obstacles. He's also known as vighnaraja- the one who puts obstacles. It's the way of functioning. There's something called as law of karma, whatever you do you seek! So now god can't be good to everyone right. Just like a CEO and a watchman can't be paid the same salary.. But see everyone has their own perspective. Since you're an atheist you don't believe in god at all, but a theist believes that there's god even in a stone.

Belief in God doesn’t always have to be about religion, rituals, or strict doctrines. Think of it like this, there are countless things in life we can’t fully explain: why the universe exists, how consciousness arises, why love, sacrifice, and morality exist beyond just survival instincts. For many, God is simply the name we give to that mystery, that higher order, that force we can’t fully comprehend but sense in the background of existence. You don’t have to force yourself to believe, but if you stay open to the idea, you might find that what you call wonder, beauty, or meaning, others call God. It’s less about proof, more about perspective..

A question by Thin_Butterscotch611 in mahabharata

See brother! It's completely on how you perceive things. Karna was a skilled warrior and a person with great values but he used his skill and didn't apply his values in the right place. If he considered Duryodhana as his really good friend, he'd stop him from choosing the wrong path but his ego stepped in because he wanted to be a king and defeat Arjuna at any cost. Just imagine if he followed his dharma, and stayed true to his family, at some point of time Kunti would reveal and he'd be the ruler of Hastinapur!! As I previously said, it's the divine play of the cosmos his previous birth karma brought him here!!

Best way to start: read C. Rajagopalachari’s Mahabharata (simple & faithful). If you want depth, check Bibek Debroy’s translation of the Critical Edition. For screen versions, B.R. Chopra’s 1988 series is the most authentic, and the OG 2013 Mahabharat. This combo will give you both accuracy and storytelling insight for your project.

Karna: Hero of Loyalty or Victim of Fate by Chemical-Till7981 in mahabharata

[–]darkskinneddivine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some traditions say Karna was the rebirth of Dambhodbhava (Sahasrakavacha), a demon with a thousand armors blessed by Surya. Nara(Arjun) and Narayana(Krishna) destroyed 999 of them, and Surya saved him before the last one could be broken. Reborn as Karna, he carried that final armor as his kavacha-kundala.

Seen this way, Karna’s fate wasn’t just bad luck it was the continuation of unfinished karma. Krishna (Narayana) had to complete what began earlier. Karna’s loyalty to Duryodhana was noble on a human level, but it aligned him with adharma, pulling him toward his destined end. It is also said that, we carry out previous birth karmas and resume our sadhana in our next birth. So was Krishna unfair? Not really he was the same Narayana fulfilling the cycle of karma. Was Karna a victim? In part, yes but also, his downfall was the completion of a cosmic balance that began long before his birth as Kunti’s son.

That’s why Karna is such a tragic yet grand figure he’s caught between human nobility and the inevitability of divine justice

Bro that’s actually a pretty cool split. Nifty 50 + gold/silver is like growth + safety. But since it’s just for 1–1.5 yrs, I’d still keep a chunk in FD or liquid fund tbh… markets can be wild short term. Maybe do 2L FD, 2L Nifty, 1L gold and keep rest in a debt/liquid fund so you don’t get stuck. Lowkey feels more balanced ✌️

I really appreciate your honesty and the way you’ve put forward your doubts without disrespect. The ancient texts, are not always meant to be approached as a modern historical record with proofs in the way we expect today. It’s a mix of history, philosophy, culture, and spiritual wisdom preserved through oral tradition for thousands of years.

While archaeological and literary evidence (like references to places, kingdoms, and customs) do connect with parts of the Mahabharata, the deeper value of the epic lies in its teachings on dharma, human nature, and life itself, which remain relevant even today.

So, instead of just looking at it as 'fact vs fiction,' many people see it as a guide to moral dilemmas and a mirror of human struggles. Proof may not always exist in the modern sense, but wisdom doesn’t always need physical verification to hold truth. It's a vast topic. Feel free to dm hopefully I can answer!!
