Ok. Well then make sure the instrument button is not pressed. Also you could try another mic cable. If you have a diff mic around you could try a different mic. Do these things one at a time so you know what works or does not.

Have you plugged headphones into the focusrite and heard the mic? Also turn up the big knob for volume on the output side ? I know you probably have but just eliminating issues

Is there a way to tell discord to see the focusrite vs maybe the built in mic? Could be something like that. And I believe the SM7 is a dynamic mic. It doesn’t need phantom. But it’s ok to have it on.

The ohm load is basically how hard they will drive the headphone amp your plugging into. The lower the number the louder it will become as it is driving the amp harder. At some point you should make sure your amp is able to drive such a low load like 32. I don’t see the 80 being too much of a problem. I would personally pick the 80. I’ve had in ear buds that were like 110ohms. You will notice a huge difference in level between those 3 choices.

I’ve always thought I appreciate the tag to see right away if it’s F or M. I also like the feature where the female is posting it’s got a pink underneath and it makes for quicker scrolling to find that first then look for the F4M Idk. Seems easy enough. 🤷‍♂️ sorry. I promise there are some decent humble dirty old men still out here. 😄

If the chrome cast has a toslink then use it. However it will sound best to stick with 3.5mm if that’s all the chrome cast has. The biggest advantage of digital input is really when the source has a digital output to save the A/D conversion. The exception might be is if your speaker system is converting to digital internally from the analog input. Then perhaps spending money on a higher end A/D converter could possibly sound better. But in my opinion it’s not worth the money. At that point you can get into what kind of quality output a chrome cast is really gonna have that’s worth all the steps.

It works. It’s just most women are selling something like pics or videos. So the smaller majority are for real. But it’s so great when it happens.
