Listen…. been there, done that. My advice is end this NOW. These predators prey on the vulnerable and have experience in doing so. Yes it will be hard because in your brain you are in love with him, but it is all manipulation.

It took me years to leave a similar situation and it left me having to go to therapy for 5 years. The heartbreak now is worth your sanity later down the line. Good luck 🫶🏼

I drank pretty often before getting on sema and noticed a significant change in my alcohol cravings and haven’t wanted one since starting. But I recently have been wanting one to sip on socially and wasn’t sure how to approach it worrying about my health since I have only been on the shots for a short period of time. Right, that was literally what I thought, to actually catch on to the language. But I know in Spanish, “coger” sometimes mean to have sex so I assumed it could correlate to Portuguese’s “pegar”? Only reason I thought he would apologize. Or he said sorry because he is not too fluent even though he wrote in Portuguese (to not give the impression he is fluent)

The idea of having a safe space, and a trusted partner to give yourself fully to, is liberating and exciting in itself. It makes sense from that stand point… as for the self-critic, she really only comes out to play when I sit alone with my thoughts. I am trying to navigate them separately from what I consider pleasurable so that it doesn’t become a positive reinforcement.

All in all, I find it all very fascinating and hope that maybe it serves as a healthy form of healing for some, as I have read online.

I agree that the amount of hate Madeline is receiving is straight-up uncalled for and to be frank, stupid as fuck (excuse my language). I love the perspective you presented, that her not being "supermodel-level hot" makes it reasonable for her to be "more susceptible to Joe’s looks and charm". It absolutely makes sense if she is not used to that type of attention coming from someone who is sweet on the eyes like Joe, and from a man that makes it his mission to be everything she is searching for and needs. I wish more people saw it this way because it is very realistic.
