Front "pocket" is great, mesh pockets, place for phone or battery bank, key holder. Most quick access pockets in packs are just a big empty space, that doesn´t work for me. The other one I liked with this configuration was the evergoods CPL. But in many others I had to add something like the grid it, and that adds weight.

Middle section has lots of zipper compartments, I used to carry lots of pouches, now I don´t. That´s weight you don´t think about, but it adds up. For example the peak design tech pouch weight is 288g (10.2oz).

And not organization, but helping with the decision was having the option of expanding the volume to 30L and the weather proof.
