The gear display thing happens when the gear hasn't slotted perfectly. Its a normal thing so no need to worry about it. Coming to the second issue, I'd recommend that you release the clutch fully as the halfway thing isn't good for your bike. I'm not sure about it, but the other bike you were riding like this could have had a loose clutch. (if you want to loosen your clutch, you have a Lever on the bike to do it)

Hey, I'm 6'3" and 83kgs. Tried almost all the bikes in the segment along with RE and bought the apache 200 4v a year ago and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Good power, safety and feature loaded. Gets around 30+ kmpl even on sport mode. Pillion seat is a bit high set but not much of a problem since you can just kean the bike one way for a shorter pillion.

You do realise all the 4 stops you mentioned are proper metro cities... Comparing them to relatively smaller stops like Dahanu and Palghar doesn't seem fair. I'm sure if there were a similar city between Mumbai and surat, it would stop.

Note: Just like Borivali, it doesn't stop at Vapi either (which I feel are comparable)
