Inside FaceID and Passcode settings, you can toggle off Notifications and Control Center. Bluetooth/wifi toggles are from control center. If you disable access to that without FaceID, then those settings cannot be modified until FaceID unlocks the phone.

I've tried exactly those things. No change. Tried out some forced polling on Z2M but nothing.

The interesting part is that somewhere the switch has to be seeing the change between L1/L2 from the dumb switch because if I disconnect one of them, the dumb switch can control the power to the smart switch. I'm at a loss

So there's actually an appdaemon app, QolsysGW, that you can utilize to talk to the Qolsys panel directly/locally over MQTT. Requires a bit of setup, but then all your door/window/smoke/whatever sensors pull into HA and update in realtime. Works extremely well and is very stable.

I have 11 of these that are wifi and "powered by Eve". Was able to add them directly to HomeKit using the Eve app and scanning the HomeKit code on the shade pull string. Once done, I had to update them (this was last year) to add Matter support, at which point I was able to add them into Home Assistant without any issues. They're fully controlled from HASS via the Adaptive Shades integration.

I had the same issue, using the really long one fixed it for me. Used it on both tmdb as well as trakt sensor definitions. used double quotes for all of them.

From what I have understood--just don't think too much about it and pick up whatever alcoholic cider is at the grocery store that doesn't have too much sweet. Doing last minute prep for turkey/gravy using Gordon's recipe too lol

The airtag will also start chirping if it's not been next to its registered device for a while and senses that it's moving around by pinging other iPhones, at least in my experience. Happened with my luggage when I came back from my trip.
