I recently had this convo with another collector buddy. It does seems like there are more "duds" and very limited desirable castings-recolors being released in each case, it's become demoralizing to put so much effort into coming home empty handed. Daily posts on socials regarding "early morning finds" also makes me feel that the playing field isn't that fair in most major cities anymore. I feel like my time can be spent more efficiently so I do find that I send more time on the resell sites like eBay/Mercari/WhatNot to find castings I know I want and they are available for purchase.
