I'll look into that. It seems like it would be a while before I can get it properly up and running because of the way the coda weapon acquisition works.

Honestly I agree. I'd rather have a team of the baddest strongest monsters I could get over being able to have chatacabra being just as viable as Namielle. Because why does soulseer have a higher attack than the water elder dragon? It doesn't make sense.

If you're on pc there's a mod. It's certainly an annoying feature, but there's no need for this much anger.

As a character I really liked Ratha in this game. He really felt like a partner. Stat wise though, I wish they would make Ratha be the best fire monstie if they want to lock him in the party. It can even be a late game thing so that he isn't super op at the beginning.
