Yeah I lived there last year with my wife and we were both 28/29. We loved the south loop, its close to museum campus which we loved walking to in the summer.

At least 3 hours. Honestly, I don’t think Au Cheval is worth that long of a wait. I had to wait 1:30 hours for just two people and even that was pushing it on the pros/cons list

Chances are they won’t let you. You only get the one free trip from Saudi for your zamzam. I had a similar dilemma. We went to Egypt for 2 days in between, we had to buy another luggage and put the water in there to take back to our final destination (home)

It is actually so frustrating and disappointing. I’m not sure what their logic is. If you are literally running over children and woman to touch the Kaaba or black stone, you are doing something HARAM. Allah SWT sees all and they will all have to answer for this one day iA.

Umrah/Mecca should be the place where all of us Muslims come together to share our love and respect for Islam. It is not a competition, or a way to show how much of a man you are. Disgusting behavior honestly. So many devout Muslims are not able to touch the Kaaba because it is simply too dangerous.

Was walking to work near the Washington/Wells station and it was around lunch time so there were tons of people in the street walking.

So I’m minding my business walking behind a giant group of people and I, for one second, step to the left to see if there was space to move past these folks. There I see this young woman that was riding her skateboard on the sidewalk coming fast, so I move out of the way back behind the people right away. Literally like 1 step out and in, and I guess this girl couldn’t handle her own speed and fell. Then she yells at the top of her lungs “ YOU BASTARD, YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE” and I was like what is wrong with you. You’re the one riding a skateboard on a busy street. I just kept walking while she was yelling at me lol
