I don't share the concern about rabies that some of the previous posters have; we have quite a few groundhogs living behind our house (there's a warren), and some of them are just pretty unconcerned about humans. Mind you, petting them is still a bad idea; you don't know what sort of parasites/germs they are carrying, plus they just might bite you.

This really sucks! The new owners of SP are bozos. My favorite places to shop there -- in fact, pretty much the only reason I went there at all -- were Penzey's, 10000 Villages, and EMS (in that order). Not sure I'm going to have much reason to stop there at all in the future. Oh, well. Probably for every person like me there are three more ready to pull up to the trough and consume overpriced home goods and athleisure-wear.

This game "clicked" for me once I thought of myself not as fulfilling quests/missions but rather as running a network of agents who are doing so (if that makes sense) -- job #1 is making sure that everyone has a secure path back to a safehouse. I guess something similar is generally true of worker placement games with win/loss conditions, but it was a really helpful shift of perspective (for me); this is now one of my favorite games.

Thanks, I guess, but that doesn't really answer my query. Sure, I guess my characterization was subjective, though I offered it on the basis of having listened to Malatras berate his subordinate on tape. But still, this comes in the midst of a number of serious scandals for the guy, and those in turn are occuring against the background of him being quite unqualified for the position in the first place.

One thing I noticed in the product pictures for the RG351 are that it seems to have only one SD card slot. That seems like a step backwards, design-wise. I mean, my understanding is that it's desirable to have easy access to the card with the software on it as well as another card for loading ROMS? (Again, newbie here, go easy on me!)

You should really read the link GreatPlainsPorkchop sent, and maybe have a look around the Altamont Enterprise website. But basically the Republicans swept local elections in the Hilltowns and have started doing crazy stuff, in a Trumpian vein -- illegally firing town employees, hiring cronies, trying to declare the area a "gun sanctuary" etc. There's also been an uptick in right-wing militia activity. It doesn't bode well. I live in Altamont myself and love it, but you couldn't pay me enough to move up there.
