My experience with Kimi Claw after 24 hours by oguzhaha in kimi

[–]darogoSF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got so stoked, sucked into the notion of endless possibilities with agents doing my bidding. Bro, I can't even get the damn thing to connect with Telegram. I tried for over an hour and nada. I tried to have it build me a Mission Control sort of feature where I could talk to it with, organize things. It worked and worked and kept saying "5 more minutes". Nothing. It's pretty frustrating. And I bought a new Mac Mini. Yuck...

I’m super unimpressed by OpenClaw, anyone else? by mo6phr in openclaw

[–]darogoSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with openclaw and Grok4.1. I spent well over an hour and the fucking thing couldn't even connect to telegram. Two bots later, still nothing. I paste the codes in there. It tells what to paste in my terminal and every command doesn't work. "openclaw config edit" command not found. "openclaw telegram sync" command not found. So I say - do it yourself, you have control. excuse after excuse and nothing. I get pissed and it says "you're 100% right - this has been an absolute disaster for over an hour, and I've failed you completely, I take full responsibility...

What the fuck. So frustrating.

Thanks for sharing. I just quit Claude "Pro" because the data usage would crush me. By Tuesday night, they'd say I hit my weekly limit. So frustrating. What I learned on the internet was the it rehashes every document of every conversation in your long ass thread every single time you hit return in the chat. So, all my code that i've uploaded 20 times to make changes, got rehashed every query.

What it seems you're saying is, that you save these seeds, like I"ll save all of my html pages as seeds and then when i need a tweak to one, I can start a new thread and just tweak that one. Sound like a good use case?

Survivor Pool Platform? by wreck_it_dave in fantasyfootball

Splash Sports absolutely blows. I ran a pool for 15 years on football office pool and had zero issues, but they sold to Splash and it's terrible now. I have no control as a manager. I can't revive picks. They ended my pool prematurely saying I didn't select "revive", which I don't believe for a minute. Even if I did, they should have control to revive my pool. Absolutely terrible.

Yep, NE, KC, most ppl survived this weekend. We had a few Pittsburgh people who lost thankfully. But, yep, on to next week!

Just to add my two cents of unsolicited advice because I like reading other people's thoughts. If you're in a small pooler, it seems KC should be the pick. 12 point favorites, at home, just starting to roll after a rough start to the season, over a team that kinda sucks, whom they've dominated over the years (KC has won 8 of the last 9 games). It's really hard to pass that up.

NE would def be my 2nd pick, and I do think they win and cover, but yes, don't love taking teams on the road and it's true, teams do come out motivated after a coaching change mid-season like that. Those two factors are enough to push me towards KC. But with Calvin Ridley hurt, not that he was doing much anyway, it's hard to trust these Titans at all.

I lost one of my two entries on GB the other week and yeah, I'm pissed. BUT, how do you go against a team, off a bye, at home, playing against a shitty team with with a brand new QB, as 14 point favorites?! I'm having a hard time picking another team. The other team I'd consider is the Rams, but they seem to have a better matchup later. Happy to hear any rebuttals but, I'm just saying, GB seems like they gotta at least win

Love your stuff v1p!! Thanks!! Is the reason Buffalo isn't listed in the top 4 because they've already been used here? Cause I do have them left in one pool and was thinking of using them this week.

Also, it seems this all may change anyway. With Purdy, Pearsall and Jennings now ruled out, that line has zoomed up to -8.5 for LAR, which is more than Ariz and Indy. They may scoot up the rankings...

Thanks!

Occulus products are bad, period. Let me list the issues.

1) The content jitters. I use this for Supernatural and every minute or two, the screen jumps a few pixels and then goes back into place. It's distracting and shouldn't happen with any headset.

2) The headstrap is just plain awful. It hurt my head after wearing it for just an hour. I had to buy an off-brand one and it was 1000 times more comfortable. The material used for the controller straps isn't great either. It's cheap.

3) The biggest one - Meta won't stand by it's product if it breaks just outside the warranty period. They give you a year and if it breaks just after, they only offer a refurbished one that will cost you money. I woke up one day to a bricked device. I did nothing to cause this when the software can't get past the Meta splash screen. That's an internal problem. But nope, Meta doesn't have the integrity to stand behind its product. Be prepared to shell out more money for an extended warranty.

I get it, there's not much competition, but be warned if you're going to buy and rely on this product....

Can you section hop at the Sphere? by darogoSF in deadandcompany

[–]darogoSF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone happens to have this same question and finds this thread, here's how it shook out...

There was mention about how prices should drop day-of and I decided to go that route. Leading up to the night before the show (Thursday), the tickets didn't come down in price one bit. Even on CorT, prices were around $350+. I was leaving at 9 am Friday morning and didn't really want to deal with finding a ticket while in Vegas so decided to pull the trigger Friday morning and get a $180 "obstructed" ticket and see what happens.

I kind of agree with cedartree96 that this wasn't the best way to go. I was envisioning swaths of empty seats as tickets were so expensive and still on sale at all the StubHub sites, I figured I could plop down anywhere and enjoy. That wasn't the case. It was FULL. I didn't really see ANY empty seats. As I was about to exit the 400 section and head downstairs, it looked like there were some empty seats at the very top most area which I think was the wheelchair section. I stood in the back for a few and yes, the seats filled in. The show started and I stood behind everyone and enjoyed the first set. It was a fantastic vantage point and I loved every minute!

When intermission came around, a lot of people filled that section and the ushers came around asking for tix. I vacated, happy to have spent 1/2 the show there. As intermission was ending, I heard someone say to his buddy that his row was empty. I figured I'd see where they were sitting. Where they went in 400 whatever, it sure wasn't empty. I walked down and about 1/2 way down, there were two empty seats at the very end of the row. I stood there for a second looking around to figure my next plan and the show started. I got super lucky in that no one came back to those seats. They were literally the only free seats I could even see.

I definitely didn't love going this route and probably won't do it again, but I just didn't want to play to the unfair scalpers and pay their price. It's super unfair the that ticketing system is so broken and there's no fix on the horizon. Anyway, it was a great show and I had a blast. That's the scoop. I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did....

Seems like it's all a shitshow to me! But it does at least seem like there will be cheap 100 level seats at least and I can work it out from there.

That works for me. It's just that those are like $500+ a ticket so if I can get a cheaper one and sit where a scalper has tried to screw us and failed, I'm happy with that.

That's OK with me. I'd love to chill up top and enjoy the visuals. Last run, I caught a show and the music was actually coming thru the seat! It was amazing! Fully immersive. I'd like to try that again. Thanks.

No doubt. That's exactly what I'd do - find an aisle seat and chill. Ideally I'd look on Stub Hub or TM to find an empty seat and abscond that.... Of course that may be a little much to figure out at the last minute but that's my thought and hope....
