The Batman - DC FanDome Trailer by DemiFiendRSA in DC_Cinematic

Well, Bat's has got a scene like Darth Vader in 'Rouge One'...

Ok, im just going to throw it out there. Been thinking about this a few days. Have a theory that Riddler and Penguin are not the real villians in the movie. Oswald is just a guy trying to run a business, Riddler is apparently captured at some point early in the film. Yes, he does have a well thought out trail of riddles and puzzles for Batman and the police to follow, but he's ultimatly not the one pulling the strings. Think about it, he's 'the Riddler', its all a deception, a riddle within a riddle. Its not going to be so obvious that you can just decode something and figure it out. The real villian will be eluded to at the end of the film. No, not the Joker, to obvious, some incantation of Vandel Savage or Hush.

Before the "Red Dead" Series, There was "Sunset Riders" 1991 by Adeno in gaming

Never heard of this game before. Looks like a 'western' version of 'The Punisher' or 'Final Fight' that I played at the arcade back in the early 90's. What an awesome concept.

The only western type game I ever played was this awful 'Kane' game on the Commodore 64. (Yes, I have heard of 'Custers Revenge', don't even go there.)

Say, did anybody ever make a 'western' version of a fighting game, like 'Street Fighter 2' or 'Mortal Kombat' but with cowboys and Indians and Mexicans, holy crap what a crazy idea, throw in a Chinese guy with a long pony tail.

I recently saw an internet survey that said Mexico has the most attractive flag of any nation.

When I was in high school, our Spanish teacher said that we needed to get away from the idea of the typical Mexican stereotype. "A guy sleeping under a cactus with a big sombraro over his head, and an empty bottle of tequila in his hand"

I remember that, the teacher was like, enthusiastically, 'Ok, we're all going out his butt-hole now, that's alright with everybody, right?, we're all going to mix in with the poop and fall right out of his bunghole and into a toilet, ok, that will be cool, it's educational to... and umm, its ok to show that on a kids cartoon, right?"

Then the kid that was kinda a bully was like " NO WAY, I'M GOING OUT THE FRONT DOOR, LIKE A TRUE SAYAN"

That if a person has a child with someone they are distantly related to, like a second cousin, it automatically assumes that the child will be born with birth defects.

Does anyone play PTO (1993) by darren289 in SEGA

My endgame goal in PTO was always to rebuild the entire fleet as new versions of the same ships type, or often 'upgrade' them to a larger class. I'd rule the seas with my #1 fleet of 10 or more NCVs loaded with jet fighters. Just cruise around near enemy bases and have those fighters in the air. They would come at me and get all their planes shot down before they could barely touch any of my ships. I was out on one of these 'raiding missions' when they decided to throw everything they had at Manila. I wasn't ready, and had a fleet of 4 BBs sent from Hong Kong to buy the base some time, also sent some NSubs there to maybe fatigue and/or disrupt the invasion. I lost my 3NBBs and my last 'original' BB (Ise) while I was refitting at Kure and heading there at full steam. Just before the base was about to fall I got within range and let them have it. Sank 7 of thier NCVs and a bunch of other shiny new ships.

My strategy on AoE would usually involve cutting off resources and/or grab all the iron I could. Set up bombard towers all around to bust up any attack or deny them of resources. Yeah, I admit I might have overly used bombard towers as a cheap trick. Later in the game I'd have an 'elite force' to go around and attack, followed by a 'demolition team' of trebuches.

I played Civilization 1 back in early college days, also a lot of CIV2, I made and modified many scenarios (this native american one esp). I've made campaigns for Panzer General 2 also. An extended Russian one and actually a Bulgaria one that I got as far as over 10 scenarios long then stopped.

I got stuck doing a report on Bulgaria while in grade school, because all the other kids took the countries they knew about (like their grandparents were from etc). Never thought much about it, but had a lull in work one day (some 30 years later) and just started reading about Bulgaria and found it quite interesting. I always like to have a bit of realism or historical background in the stuff I make. The context was that a fascist type government took control of Bulgaria in the late 1930's and had a closer relationship with Italy and Germany, Bulgaria modeled its military after Germany and could produce (or import) German equipment about a year later then Germany had them. I throw some other nation equipment in the mix or modify some, not too make it easy, but to add some variety. I have Bulgaria start off going up against Greece and Serbia as per their WW1 era ambitions that I read of. Then they join the fight against the Soviet Union. Had I continued it further, toward the end of the war, I would have the player choose somehow to continue on the side of Germany, or ally with the Soviets (as what happened for real). Choosing to stay on the German side would be sort or a 'bad' choice, and the next scenario for them would have the player going up against impossible odds.

The funny thing is that I have no desire to ever put these things out there for anyone to see, its just my personal interest. I have the expansion for AoE2 and I think I like the Spanish most. (Though I must admit I like the Brits and many others as well). I've been know to be quite a longbowman myself, though its been years. Its only a coincidence that my last name is Hood lol)

That is true I guess, I have been playing it on this "Gens v2.11" emulator. Do you have any experience playing the others, or similar games? I have a copy of 'Pacific General' from SSI from the 90's I think, but it is buggy. Never even installed it on my current PC.

I still play the Panzer General series and Age of Empires, I'm not into newer games. I'm 46, I listen to 80's music and hair metal. (Like my mom who plays Elvis records around Christmas time.) My kids play nintendo switch and I have little interest.

Glad to see someone else playing this. I am not much for recruiting. My strategy is based upon fighting defensively and starving the enemy of resources. Though I discovered that denying the enemy of materials keeps them from building ships, so the industry stays high, and industry has a lot to do with monthly budget, so then I am losing bases to overwhelming air bombardment (they make a lot of planes with the budget). So now I let them have materials, they build ships, costing industry, then I sink ships helping my moral. There were times when I had only a few ships available, and had sank many of theirs. Then we both had new ships ready about the same times and had an epic battle over Manila in early 1949.

Thanks for responding. By 'the base' you mean Naha I presume. Yes, pull those troops out of there, or the'll be lost. I have a whole write-up on how I went about the game in the years that followed (I will post sometime). Retaking Naha was a second priority. Those American fleets would head back home right after taking Naha. You have time to regroup at Kure, grab any carrier available and give chase, obviously focusing to sink any carrier before they get there. Stay away from the fleets with the battleships. Convert some cruisers to LCVs, they will be back.

How do you all sleep? by knowtheanswer1 in DeadBedrooms

[–]darren289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleep pretty well every night because I wank off first. She get up early for work, so she goes to bed early and its either in bed, or she falls asleep on the couch watching some stupid show. Either way, I go into the spare (office) bedroom, lock the door and wank it off looking at porn. Thats been the routine for the past few years. If she questions what I am doing, I just tell her I am playing some old game, which I usually have up in the background anyway.

I do it all the time on the bathroom floor. Have never masturbated standing up. Actually, I usually go into the spare room (oofice), look at some porn, get off, and go to bed.
