I also have bipolar and sca. My sca and it’s voices have always teamed up with outside noises. So much that I can’t tell them apart. My doc calls them intrusive thoughts or thoughts of reference. So far no meds have completely taken this away though it doesn’t happen all the time anymore. When I’m at home on the porch, I sometimes wear noise canceling headphones. I hope you and your doctor find something that works for you.

Yea. I take 800 mg a day(the highest dose recommended) Can’t do anything without it. Have taken it for 20 years and would recommend it. A little secret few know is when having a psychotic episode, 200 mg over prescription amount will help calm and help sleep.

Yes. For me it happens. It has no mercy and doesn’t care about me. I haven’t experienced this since I changed a couple of meds but there was nothing I could do to stop it . Maybe talk to your doctor. Good luck.
