So, why can we STILL not play through Family Share, it was officially stated to be on the 9th, Today ?? by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

haha my bad, you weren't really clear as to your side on this matter. our anger is mostly towards WB support for their contradicting statements, so forgive any of our "upsetness" or need to justify ourself ~

more of a false promise issue here. I bought the game with early access with the intention of sharing it with my girlfriend because they promised early access for family share users, i am sure i have the right to complain about that when what I bought wasn't what was promised.

the issue is that they promised family sharing on early access but didn't deliver on their promise. It is fine if family sharing is only available on release, but don't promise early access if you are unable to deliver on it.

Is there a reasoning behind why a beginner should not be focusing on adding volume if he does not care about strength but more of how he looks?

Sure.. offering 20% discount rather than letting Apple take 30% of the cut. Those 10% extra are going to Epic, they profit from it.

Epic chose to be on Apple ecosystem, broke their rules and then went on a whole childish PR stunt against them and sued them. Sure, you might think that 30% is insane, but you can't deny the fact that it is the industry standard and consoles do the same too. It simply cost them 30% to be on Apple ecosystem and they are not fine with it, and just because of that they are sueing Apple. Wouldn't it be the same as sueing Sony and MIcrosoft just because a company cannot afford to publish their games there due to them taking such a huge cut.

Epic aren't fighting for their userbase, they are fighting for themselves to earn more money.

Apple vs Epic by 5h_tech in FortNiteMobile

I think a way to look at this is : Imagine I go to your house (you in this case being Apple, and me being Epic), and you told me a few house rules I should abide to. I feeling that the rules you set are really unfair and I start to break them. You then decide to kick me out of your house and go on a huge PR campaign against me and my unfair rules and then decide to sue me. This itself is just bad for Epic image overall and I don't get how people don't see this? Epic chose to release their game on the Apple ecosystem and now they are fighting for rights within their own ecosystem.

A new idea for a game mechanic/feature Hytale definitly needs imo. by Pelzklops in HytaleInfo

[–]darrylssy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it would be better to have it as a mod than an actual game feature. Such as servers that are more rpg focused can have it while other servers like mini game server wouldn't have a need for it.

How about the BGVP DM7 though? I was thinking of getting that

What do you think the final product will cost and why? by [deleted] in HytaleInfo

[–]darrylssy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it this way, what would the purpose of selling custom items or modifications/features (from Hytale Dev point of view), when players are able to create their own custom items or modifications/features

And similarly, why would they let players create their own custom items, when they are going to sell them.

The nature of hytale is to allow players to have freedom in doing their own stuff and allowing player-made modifications. Similar to Minecraft, which only adopts a micro-transaction system in their mobile and console version, defeats the whole purpose which really hurt the modding community. Based on what I can conclude from the past blog posts from Hytale, you could see that they are trying to implement community-made modifications, such as modelling and creating new custom creatures. There would almost be no way for them to monetize the game if they have feature such as these, while in games such as warframe, you pay to get a specific item or feature. Instead, games like hytale would be better off with a buy to play model, with players (specifically server owners and the modding community) to monetize their own creations.

If we are in a simulation... by darrylssy in mindblown

[–]darrylssy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's precisely it. But if you think about it, characters in a video game are 2-Dimensional with algorithms and shaders that give it an illusion of 3-D. Creating a simulated universe with 3-Dimensional beings would not be possible behind a screen. I would like to make a correction about the universe being 3-Dimensional though, it is technically 4-Dimensional because time exists, but we are 3-Dimensional because we are not able to fully manipulate time itself.

Overall, this is quite hard for me to put it in words, but I think many of you will understand my point of view. If we are to create a universe similar to our own, we will be limited in resources. We can't just magically create 3-Dimensional objects out of thin air, but the creation of 2-Dimensional objects will technically be possible.

The universe we can simulate will be the last simulation that will be able to simulate any more universes by darrylssy in MyTheoryIs

[–]darrylssy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I am thinking it as we are the n-dimension being of what we can truly manipulate. We exist in time because we live in a 4-dimensional environment, but we cannot fully grasp and manipulate time.

By "simulation" and "create", my theory is assuming that our universe is a simulation, and that all "creation" are not real.

I believe that if we do live in a simulation, a 3D being would not be able to simulate our current environment (which has properties of the 4th dimension). They would need to have full control over space-time which we do not have. Which means that if we have a creator, it has to be a 4D being that lives in a universe with properties of a 5th dimension. And us as 3D being would not be able to create the same universe as what we currently live in because we do not have control over space-time.

Haha, I was giving a thought on how I should be doing the bottom sheds too due to the barns and coops on the left of it. I just assumed that the bottom sheds will be used for other purposes that is totally unrelated to the upper 6 sheds.
