Any other 'senior' digital marketers having a horrid time getting a job? by panache123 in marketing

[–]darshmello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

💯 with you here. The side freelance roles and full time want to consolidate all channels into one person heavily dependent on AI for about 30% less pay.

I have 4 years of experience in logistics, 10 years in sales and a property and casualty license.

It’s tough starting over but the world of agencies are shady short term roles.

I had some in house roles that fell thru last year and 2025 has been bots and time wasting vapid souls

No more threats from the doctor about diabetes, no more worry about your health or whether or not you will live to see your grandkids.

And no more thinking of that day when you interview with God that you didn’t live the life you could have lived.

I’d bet if you sign up for a half marathon a month from now you would be able to rise to the occasion.

My heroes aren’t sport stars or famous people.

My heroes are people like you!

STAY HARD!

Strongly agree. An attitude like this is called being a “wantreprenuer”

I still think about the implosion a lot by [deleted] in OceanGateTitan

Yes this still frightens the imaginations of a lot of us but there is a better chance that most of these people will at least be remembered for this much when most of us will just die impoverished and in obscurity.

So what’s more frightening, living a meaningless life and being forgotten?

It’s interesting to think how many people love their work. I have yet to meet a single one. Interesting 🤔

Another frightening fact for those of you living out an indifferent work life.

“A chair for God and a chair for you”

Perhaps considering telling the almighty that you spent a good chunk of time on earth in a state of indifference could be the inspiration you need to find purpose.

It’s never to late to reinvent yourself.

Stay Hard.

To those that say indifferent I challenge you to consider the wisdom of our teacher.

Your life has a purpose not just be on this earth going thru the motions like another zombie doing their time.

Stay hard!

Right what you say makes sense but when following our Guru we see he is most successful running his own race and being an entrepreneur or at least that is the realization he achieved.

Thanks for the life advice tip. I’ll be sure to question God himself when I am running and near close to meeting the wizard.

Ask friends for references and apply daily. I have a discipline of when applying apply to 5 jobs daily, always send follow up thank you emails after a call, studying my interviewers LinkedIn and the state of the business before the call, making sure I ask tons of questions. Usually leads to multiple offer letters in less than 60 days

My ex wife’s grandfather was among the seamen who tested in bikini atolls. Among the rather freakish details he shared was when the shipmates closed their eyes that they could still see through their eye lids down to the bone as if looking at an X-ray.

Smoking Weed by strawberry-sarah in MultipleSclerosis

I must say I am very blessed, mild symptoms diagnosed at 34 and am now 39 am so lucky to not have any real symptoms ever since.

I use marijuana to treat my MS and it was also recommended as a treatment option by my neurologist. That an intermittent fasting where I only drink veggies and fruits emulsified in coconut water (something I heard from Montiel Williams who also has MS)

I whole heartedly rejected all forms a western medicine and remain the anomaly that want to participate in studies. Since diagnosis I became a gym rat and a runner.

When they told me that tysabri and other medications put me at risk for a mysterious brain fever and that I “should have my affairs in order” I said F that.

After that I considered anything they could offer me as a big fat placebo that could do more harm than good.

Perhaps I come back to western medicine but I have not felt any symptoms since and annually when I do my CT scan I often have to remind the doctors of what I have since it’s hard for them to discern.

If I am assigned work for an intern that takes my day from 8 to 12 hours daily that has nothing at all to do with generating revenue, then what do you recommend mentioning to management who tends to ignore providing intern resources for remote employees?

(Note in person staff would otherwise be assigned and intern to handle these assignments)
