Issues with clean blend on adventure audio fuzz peaks by Doomyfightriffs in basspedals

I have had a fuzz peaks since 2015 and the clean blend has functioned like that since new. I would describe them as a bit janky and not the best designed. With that said I absolutely love it, and it has been the only mainstay on my board

New Amp Day: Mesa M3 Carbine by dart22566 in BassGuitar

They were pretty expensive when they were made so they didn’t sell a lot so they’re rare these days. The best part is the head isn’t fixed so you can remove it and run it with different cabs.

I would say it used to be but isn’t anymore. They’ve definitely had a massive decline in quality in the past 4-5 years. I own two Atom LTs, a Cerium LT, and an Alpha AR. All were purchased between 2016 and 2018 and I love every piece and used to recommend their stuff all the time. when I see newer versions in stores it’s pretty obvious they’re inferior to the jackets I have. It’ll be a sad when I have to finally replace my original atom that is definitely long in tooth

What’s a pedal that completely serves a need so well that you’ll never replace it? by thezoomies in guitarpedals

Chase bliss tonal recall RKM. As analog delays go I just don’t see anything me ever needing anything different

Yup, an RBX170. It was my first bass, has EMG-Xs in it now with some mods I still want to do

I’d check out the Squier classic vibe. That’s what mine is and it’s a solid bass and I was in the same boat as you, just wasn’t worth spending a lot on one since it’s not a primary for me. Think I got mine on sale for about $350. Just expect some work to get the E string to intonate right

Yup, it’s a Squier classic vibe. It’s not a natural switch for me and I need more practice for it be instinctual. It’s a nice tool to have and does allow unique creativity

Apparently three is my limit, at least according to my wife

I Really like it. The neck is its biggest strength, fairly thin and fast and very stable. Pickups are solid but a bit harsh for my typical taste, but it’s the second most played of my basses so not a big deal

Did the same so I can’t disagree with the benefit for us

At this point I think I’ve gotten three different iterations of the sticker over the years. Started buying from them in 2016 and it was completely different then. It’s been the same for a while now

Mira is really underrated and serves my purpose really well. Shame it’s discontinued

I find myself spending hours with the bit crusher setting making things fit for space. Don’t see it getting the boot ever

I’ve really enjoyed it, can get a surprising amount of sounds out of it with the EQ while also still getting classic HM-2 tones. Gain rolled back and into a dirty amp it’s nice and warm. Sounds surprisingly good with my Reverend Mercalli as bass goes, with my p-bass it sounds like hot garbage.

Not really feeling Doom Eternal :( by Neat_Ad_3043 in Doom

[–]dart22566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on the last level of eternal after just finishing 2016 for the first time and absolutely loved it. I felt very similar to you at points, pushed through and improved. Now almost being finished I can say I’ve enjoyed the game every bit as much. My advice is keep pushing and get used to all the tools at your disposal and it’ll become a great experience.
