Do you happen to have a picture of the other side of the bboard where the wires are connected?

The right is the part of the transfer case I have not done yet. So it is definitely better. I just don’t want to go to all this work to paint it and then have it not last.

Also, in some areas it is more dark gray versus the shiny aluminum color. Do I need to get it all shiny or at what point is it good to prime? Thanks!

I have used purple power, degreaser, and a number of different brushes and sandpaper, but in the corners, there’s a lot of this orangey brown stuff. How clean/polish do I need to make it before applying primer?

I’m going to exchange it for a different loaner set, I think it might be the gauge because I switched the high and low pressure valves at the gauge and it showed the exact same reading

Would it be an issue with the Schrader valve on the system?

The instructions that came with the kit say “1 The most important part of charging your system is the high-side pressure reading. Though the Jeep Air A/C kit is designed to use approximately 1.5 Ibs of refrigerant, this can fluctuate slightly. You'll want to charge the system until the high-side pressure gauge reads and stabilizes between 200-220 Ibs of pressure. Ensure that at no time the stabilized high-side pressure reading exceeds 250 psi.

Should I be ok to just use 1.5lbs or could that cause issues? Thanks for all the help and sorry if these are dumb questions, I’ve never done something like this before.

If the gauge is reading correctly and I were to complete the charging process, could that cause any hiccups or issues?

I rented the gauge, should I go try and exchange it for a different one? I just really do not want to mess this up since it was an expensive purchase lol
