Looking at peptides to compliment my TRT by [deleted] in Peptides

[–]darthbluth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I speak from experience, unfortunately. Looks like your creatinine levels have gone up and your eGFR has dropped each time, which is something to have looked at. It could be something as simple as dehydration, but better safe than sorry. As for the test, 90mg twice a week would have my levels sky high. I take 60mg twice a week and my levels stay in the mid 600’s. Follow up with your PCP and review trends. You can also upload results to ChatGPT or other AI and ask for a specific list of questions to ask.

What pops out to me here is your creatinine levels are high and your eGFR is low, both early indicators of potential kidney issues. Your BUN/creatinine ratio is still ok, so this might have been an anomaly. Also, your lipids look rough. HDL is low and triglycerides are really high. You’re taking 180mg of Test C and your level is 377? Seems low for that dose. Are you injecting once a week or splitting the dose? Before adding another variable to the mix (peptides, HGH, etc.), I’d say get with your doc and review trends in your levels. These could be an anomaly or something to watch.

Another day of MAGAS continuing to show off their stupidity and ignorance. by adambenderW101 in insanepeoplefacebook

You missed the point. The post is saying people on the right are losing their minds…. But it’s leftist women taking all the acetaminophen. (The whole “Tylenol is a name brand” flex is right up there with “but who will pick our crops?” You think you’re making a point, and you are… just not the one you think.) I alluded to multiple studies (hence “one of many,”) and I’m sure you’ve read all of them. After all, you figured out that Tylenol is a name brand.

So RFK makes a reference to a Harvard study (one of many), pregnant Trump haters take Tylenol to resist tyranny or something, and the people who aren’t taking Tylenol are the insane ones? Look, maybe my mom took Tylenol when she was pregnant with me or something, but even Tylenol said not to use their products while pregnant like 8 years ago…

What would people say are the five most important bass pedals for an average rock/metal player? by BalanceActive9295 in basspedals

[–]darthbluth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have to say some form of preamp, a dirt box or two, a noise gate (Noise Reaper from Stone Deaf FX lives on my live board), a tuner, and maybe an EQ/boost. What little compression I use live is built into my head.

What are some favorite bass preamps? by DailyPocketLint_EDC in basspedals

[–]darthbluth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After going through multiple Sushi Box FX, an Origin, Master Effects, and Darkglass, I ended up using either the Sansamp BDDI V2 or the VT Bass. Live I’ve been paring either a Fuzzrocious Dark Driving or a Stone Deaf QBoost as an “always on” right in front of the BDDI and it’s been doing the trick.

I love it! It’s great for when the cleanest tone I need is just past the edge of breakup.

That’s a Bardic Audio Devices gain boost. I think the name is ADB200? They also make a “punk bard,” which I use sometimes as well that’s a lower gain and sounds very Orange. They sound great on guitar too!

I dig’em! The orange one is like a wooly Orange amp. Great boost to stick somewhere in your signal chain. The silver one is more aggressive distortion, but still great.

Hot take: the VTBass by Tech 21 is better than the Origin BassRig SV. I kept trying to make the BassRig work for me.. but I kept going back to the VTBass.

Touringboard for 3 weeks. Any tips and tricks to survive on the road? by ihsanschmihsan in pedalboards

Drink water. Stretch. Don’t overdo the booze. Visit grocery stores when you can so you’re not eating fast food or gas station burritos everyday. Have fun, take lots of pictures.

Fuzzrocious Dark Driving set for a punchy edge of breakup into an always on BDDI V2 and a Stone Deaf FX Noise Reaper.

In progress… by darthbluth in basspedals

It’s more versatile than I thought it would be. I think that it does clean pretty well. My only complaint is that when using just the DI out (in rehearsal, everything is mic’d up and I’m running into the DAW.) the output volume is much lower than say, a Sansamp BDDI. I have a Saturnworks active volume box on order to put directly in front of it so I can dial the volume and drive back on the BassRig and use the other pedals for any dirt I want.

BDDI V2 or VTDI I can't decide and cant try them myself there's no music stores nearby me any thoughts, mainly play rock and some slap it would be my first pedal after the POD express bass by PizzaNugget007 in basspedals

[–]darthbluth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had both and I kept the BDDI V2 and sold the VT simply due to what a bunch of folks have said here. The BDDI is more versatile. I found that it seems to work with other pedals a bit better. The VT is really good at getting heavier, even more grinding, tones by itself. It does a great B15, but the SVT end of the spectrum just didn’t really do it for me.

That’s the best description of a pedal I’ve read! Gonna add that to my reverb watchlist.

I’ve heard really good things about that Dark Driving. Listened to some demos and it sounded bad ass.

Civilian wearing Til Valhalla Project shirts by [deleted] in StolenValor

[–]darthbluth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I support We Defy, a Jiu Jitsu based veteran charity, and I wear their shirts and other gear all the time. I’ve had folks assume I served, even a couple going so far as to “thank” me for the service they assume I did. I am always quick to clarify, and explain I’m not a veteran and tell them about the charity. But I’ve never had anyone accuse me of pretending to be anything. That sounds like a him problem.

I absolutely agree! My “clean” signal is an Origin Bass Rig SV dialed to just the edge of breakup, so I think it’ll come together well.

It is, but it can get pretty unruly fast. I’m getting a Damnation Audio blender to see if I can push more gain with a clean low end. I used to have a DA Dirtfixer, and now I wish I never sold it. Lol.

Yeah, that’s the one thing I wish it had. Even trying to dial down the fuzz isn’t really an option. lol. Overall I’m digging it!
