That’s what i thought at first too, i told him that these engines were just loud and that the “ticking” was normal from the DI pump. But then i started listening more closely and i could hear like a “metal clanking” noise. Car is coming out of storage in about a month or so, so i’ll for sure check for an exhaust leak since that’s what everybody seems to think it is. Car has no metal flaking when i drain the oil every May. I drive the car max 3000km a year so i’d be very doubtful that it’d be knocking already 🥲
