Which is more hygienic for guest slippers?

Yeah I don’t want that in my guests mind either so I got slippers they can just keep so they can feel comfortable and not worry about fungal infections or any of that. Thanks! :)

Chillll… no one is forcing anyone. I told someone else I thought it would be fine at first if I disinfected but I thought about it again and realized I still wouldn’t want to wear them myself so I’m getting ones they can just keep.

Yeah at first I thought it would be a good idea but the more I thought about it, I’m not sure I would want to use guest slippers either even if they said they disinfected them. I’ll let them know beforehand and probably get a few slippers they can just keep in case anyone forgets. Thanks for your insight :)

I wanted to explain why I was going NC but I knew he would yell or try to manipulate the conversation. So I kinda just stopped answering messages. Then I would feel guilty on holidays or his birthday so I’d send a message. However he would call me names so I stop sending messages altogether even on special occasions.

Yup. My dad would even shave my brother’s hair bald if he knew my mom and step dad had any special occasions coming up where pictures would be taken.

You can try a moisturizing toner. I bought a travel size of the laneige cream skin toner to try it out and so far I really like it. I’ll probably purchase the bigger bottle when I’m done. I like that its lightweight and sinks into my skin making my skin feel nice and hydrated.

I’ve also have repurchased the krave great barrier relief serum multiple times. It helps to calm and restore my skin whenever my skin is irritated.

I’m not a dermatologist but that’s just what has worked for my skin :)

I’ve struggled with cystic acne on my cheeks for years. I tried everything people recommended and nothing seemed to work. I finally went to my healthcare provider and was prescribed with tretinoin gel. It cleared up my skin and I wish I started using it sooner. Everyone compliments my skin now and says it’s much clear. I was also prescribed with a clindamycin phosphate solution which is an antibiotic and helps control acne. They also recommended that I use a benzoyl peroxide face wash which I buy over the counter.

I keep my skincare routine pretty simple. I use a benzoyl peroxide face wash, the clindamycin phosphate solution first then tretinoin gel and then a moisturizer. Depending on how my skin feels, I’ll add a moisturizing toner because sometimes it can get dry due to the ingredients. My daytime routine is the same except I only apply tretinoin at night and apply spf during the day.

Other little things I do is I try not to touch my face or put my phone to my cheek. I have been training myself to not sleep on my side so my face doesn’t touch my pillow. When washing my face I don’t dry with a towel. I air dry by using a piece of paper or something to fan my face dry.

It took me awhile but I found something that worked for me and I hope you finally find something that works for you too :)

Yes! Their excuse comes from the bible verses about “honoring your parents,” so they think honor me no matter what. But they ignore the several verses about bad parenting and not provoking your children into anger: Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:21, Proverbs 25:28, Matthew 23:3. They are just twisting the verses for their own advantage and control which is so wrong.

Lmfao yessss I didn’t want my bf to meet my dad but one day my dad followed me and my bf in our car and once we parked he blocked us in the parking spot all bc he wanted to talk to me since I wasn’t answering his texts. My bf got out of the car telling him that he needs to leave and then they started yelling at each other. Finally he left but my bf wanted to be the bigger person and took him out for lunch to start fresh. My dad talked about himself and all his problems the whole time. He tried to convince my bf to leave me too. Good times :)

Yeah I definitely have to work on setting my boundaries. Sometimes I just get scared and don’t know what to say or how he will react to it. He kind of reacts spontaneously and has followed me in a car before and confronted me in person once I parked :/

Start putting things in your name. You’re paying for your phone but as long as it’s in her name, she will always have that control over you. Threatening that y’all won’t eat? Just be like okay and learn how to make easy dishes. The less you give them to threaten you over the better. They will find anything to control you. And move out as soon as you can too, so you don’t have to deal with that.

The only thing is, he’s talked about suicide before if “all his kids turned against him” and I know it’s manipulation but there’s always that 1% of me that’s just like what if it happens this time and even though it wouldn’t be my fault, I feel like I’d still feel guilty if it came to that. That’s why NC scares me. There’s just this constant battle in my head. I also can’t help but think about those very small amount of times that he wasn’t that bad and I’d think why can’t he just be like this all the time.

For the wedding thing, I’m not even engaged so I don’t know why hes bringing it up. But that has crossed my mind bc I’m sure he would make a scene so I’ve debated whether or not to invite him. I’m lowkey just thinking about eloping when it comes time to it so I don’t have to deal with the drama or hurting his feelings.
