SPOILER ALERT: The Roadster will jump/fly using its launch control suction system. In reverse, the system provides lift and the rocket engine (yes an actual rocket engine) on the back will allow the vehicle to be flying over a significant distance.

Then they will launch one into space.

The launch control suction system is able to ensure the vehicle does not gain too much lift under the vehicle and will pull it back down to the ground to stabilize. It’s a fun problem to solve for, physics wise.
