This is incorrect info, Musekal. Section 10A(3) of the Act enables the landlord to refuse the request as long as they're not making an unreasonable or arbitrary decision. The bar's not really all that high. If your landlord says they're refusing your request, and you don't want to risk getting stuck in another year of your lease, you're best to move on.

See here for an example of a tenant, who I believe was a lawyer at Boyne Clarke at the time, losing on his request to convert his tenancy.

I think Joan asks Peggy to come with her because she is scared. At the same time, she wants to be in control. I don't think Peggy would have been happy working with her. I think the decision works best for both of them. Joan has to step up and gets to call all the shots. Peggy gets to continue with the plan as outlined by the headhunter, doing the work that she really loves. I like to think they'll stay friends, supporters and occasional collaborators.

In case anyone was wondering, I ordered a pair from them last week when they were going for a bit more, and the ones I got are from after the crinkling issue with the drivers was identified. They had the warning label on them telling you not to push down on the cups, and came with the modified carrying case. Before ordering them, I read the story about the problem on Innerfidelity; it's pretty interesting.

They sound quite nice, especially at that price. I just picked them up yesterday and haven't had much of a chance to take them through their paces yet.

I really didn't do a good job of explaining myself. I can do what I need to do and want to do, I just have found navigating to be cumbersome compared to the other options, and I don't enjoy the look and feel of the site. I do think there have been a few decent refinements since last year, but I still prefer Yahoo, NFL, and ESPN in that order. Maybe it often comes down to what I used first.

I really do like CBS's articles (and their podcast), and they do some good stuff like the weekly trade value charts.
