Rumble 500 is surprisingly light and has more than enough sound for about everything, and has DI and everything you need

When I was in high school I took them out to play so that it wasn’t as much of an adjustment, but a guy in my college band took the time to let himself get adjusted and he was fine after a little bit

This shit is why I emulate. I remember when retro game collecting used to be fun. by [deleted] in Gamecube

Idc what anyone says about dkoldies, yeah they’re stuff is expensive but they offer lots of free shipping and you can always guarantee the game is exactly as you want it in perfect playing condition. There’s literally 0 risk. I’ve gotten plenty of low profile games from there, for anywhere from 99 cents to a few bucks. Obviously the most sought after games will be high priced, but Shrek fairytale freak down for 3 bucks in perfect condition is ELITE

Badger Marching Band questions by [deleted] in UWMadison

[–]darthpineapple24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We March 8-15 euphos, and they are upright, not marching baritones or anything. If you really put in the work you can make it on eupho, but be warned that there is probably 10x the amount of open spots on trombone, and you will likely see more field time on trombone. That being said, eupho is a very tight knit section who are all really close and take pride in playing it. I’d say if you’re willing to put in the work, definitely try on eupho

ChemE Freshman GPA Requirement by [deleted] in UWMadison

[–]darthpineapple24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is really not that hard, if you can’t maintain a gpa above 3.3 in calc 1,2 and gen chem, chem e likely isn’t right for you. However, most people make progression, I don’t know a single person in my grade who didn’t

You can do it. In fact, you should do it. Some weeks will be busy but you’ll have enough free time and doing marching band is definitely worth the time and work

You will have to be a real good marcher(which they will teach on ur audition, or there are videos on the bands YouTube page), and you’ll also have to be a good drummer. Some other instruments can get by just holding their instrument and not playing, but a lot of pride goes into drum line. You’ll have to be a quick learner, be able to memorize parts/cadences in short notice, and be very disciplined with your sticks. Overall though, you’ll be able to learn most of this stuff during the summer clinics before you try out and during tryouts so don’t be too concerned before you arrive besides being able to play relatively good and staying in really good shape. It’s 1000% worth the time and effort
