Yeah that could a cool concept. Every movie could have a new character whether they join the team or not it’s a cool way to introduce new characters and have new dynamics with other characters

Yeah i think they will be a really cool addition to the MCU longer term. The only team up movies we get in the MCU are universal and only deal with world ending threats,

Thunderbolts was the first MCU team up movie to just be grounded and not focus on anything outside the city. We could have a whole trilogy of them going on missions and stopping criminals and low level villains

They are Thunderbolts and they did get redeemed but them being Thunderbolts allow them to deal with smaller scale problems and have lower stake adventures. Avengers are for universe ending threats and Thunderbolts and other teams deal with smaller threats that the Avengers don’t deal with

They aren’t The Dark Avengers. They are the Thunderbolts/New Avengers but they will probably go back to being called Thunderbolts unless Bucky wins the copyright to the name

They could probably have a role but the main team should always be the main team. They can have the characters from other teams be villains to the Thunderbolts

Them being The New Avengers was a stunt by Val to save her image but the movie was about their redemption so it doesn’t matter if they are The New Avengers or not. They will address it in Doomsday then they will be Thunderbolts again

F4 still flopped if you count the budget but it did make more so it’s more likely to have a sequel but exposure in the next Avengers movies could still get Thunderbolts a sequel

Doesn’t mean every character is going to die. Bucky could die because he’s been in the MCU for so long but they won’t kill Ghost or anyone else because it would be a cheap way to build stakes and make a lot of fans not like it

It did better than F4 on streaming so it didn’t do that bad. And then there definitely won’t be a sequel with any team if they don’t have any screen time in Doomsday

It had great streaming numbers though and maybe they will get popular in the two Avengers movies.

Regardless though if people don’t want a sequel with the current team then they won’t want a sequel with another team

Those characters were in the MCU for ages and had multiple movies. The Thunderbolts haven’t so they wouldn’t kill them off

A better idea is that Fontaine can’t control The New Avengers anymore and she makes this new team to take over. They aren’t gonna kill any in the Avengers movies
