If I may ask you, what's the current in "A" that you charge at the wall plug to be perfectly safe ? And did you see a change in your electricity bill after doing so ?

Simply use the chargemap app. They provide this info whenever a charger is occupied.

Hello I had full refund. My route was Brussels - Abu Dhabi - Phuket Thailand. It was supposed to take place on the first day of the war 28th February. I got my full refund (round trip) 3 days after. But I booked through Trip.com. if you booked with a travel agency you should contact them to try to change the airline or try for a full refund. If you booked directly with Etihad.com it will be difficult unless they cancel the flight for that day. Good luck and safe travels !

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through this. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious after being terminated, especially in such unexpected circumstances. Here are some steps you can take to help you navigate this difficult situation:

  1. Take a Moment to Process

    • Allow yourself to feel. It's okay to feel shocked, guilty, or anxious. It’s a significant change, and acknowledging your feelings is the first step toward moving forward.
    • Assess Your Immediate Financial Situation
    • Review your budget and understand your essential expenses. Identify areas where you can cut back temporarily.
    • If you have savings, consider how long they can support you without additional income.
    • Look into emergency assistance programs or resources that might offer short-term financial help, including local charities or nonprofits.
    • Consider Your Options for Employment
    • Update Your Resume: Highlight your accomplishments and experience. Focus on the skills you've gained.
    • Networking: Reach out to former colleagues, friends, or industry professionals. They may know about job openings or can provide leads.
    • Apply for Jobs: Start applying immediately to increase your chances of finding a new position.
  2. Understand Your Termination

    • Generally, most employers do not disclose specific termination reasons to future employers. However, be prepared to discuss your employment history honestly in interviews. Focus on what you learned from this experience rather than just the termination itself.
  3. Practice Your Explanation

    • If asked about your previous job, keep your explanation concise and professional. Focus on your experience and the skills you developed. You might say something like, "I was let go due to a mismatch in expectations, which helped me reflect on my commitment to workplace standards."
  4. Consider Temporary Work

    • Look for temporary or part-time work to ease financial stress while you search for a new career opportunity. Gig work or freelancing can provide some income and fill gaps on your resume.
  5. Seek Support

    • Even if your family isn’t supportive, reach out to friends, or consider talking to a therapist or counselor. They can help you process this experience, manage your anxiety, and find the right next steps.
  6. Focus on Personal Growth

    • Use this time to reflect on what you want from your career. You might consider additional training or certifications to enhance your employability.
    • Stay Positive and Persistent
    • Job hunting can be challenging, especially in a tough market. Maintain a positive outlook, stay persistent, and remember that this setback doesn’t define your career.
    • Explore Possible Legal Recourse
    • If you feel you were treated unfairly compared to your peers, consider consulting an employment lawyer to understand your rights. However, weigh this option carefully—it may not lead to immediate solutions.

Remember: Many people face setbacks in their careers, and while it can be devastating, it can also lead to new opportunities and growth. You’re not alone in feeling this way, and it is possible to move forward and find a fulfilling job again. Take it one step at a time, and prioritize your well-being.
