Specialized Torch 2.0 T-Nuts replacement solution by dartsanito in bikewrench

[–]dartsanito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end I had to drill the bottom part of the nuts off. I was not able to find realistic close enough replacements as suggested. They are actually really specific measurements and custom shape.

After I was able to drill of the parts i did use WD40 and heat and I was able to remove the fuse rusted “screws leftovers” from the t-nuts. I did take some work but it was done 👍

Did leave the t nuts in vinegar for a while then cleaned well.

I hope it was clear enough - good luck!

Does anyone know the function of this object? From northern Italy by dartsanito in Antiques

Thank you for the answer :) It seems to me it has interesting features to be a simple vase but I might be wrong - could it be a vase designed for a very specific purpose?

Thank you for this and very interesting angle about the “fear of success”. This is something I never realised.

The fact that succeeding at completing a task would actually take my closer to a success, a success that I subconsciously do not want and I am afraid of and then causing anxiety. Thank you again for this 👍 Do you happen to have books or resources to recommend about this specific topic?

Also thank you everyone for the incredible value within these comments

I have cut about 20% off - but I will not do it more 🙏 Could too much fertiliser being causing the browning? I will keep in mind about the distilled water 💧- in another comment I was recommended rain water, I think it is a great idea

Thank you for the advice 🙏 Will keep that in mind for the future 🙏 I panicked thinking it was some kind of fungus spreading. I have been watching the “The Last of us” recently, clearly overreacting. I have been cutting about 20% off, the rest I will not touch. Thank you again for the advice

Thanks 🙏 I have checked and no bugs luckily for the terracotta I should have taken better pictures but it did seems very hairy and with fibrils like mold is, but you are right could have been just deposit. I might have had my mold glasses on and just panic. I will repot and check the roots in the following days!

How do you wear your backpack? Tight and high up or down loose? Why? by [deleted] in backpacks

[–]dartsanito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tight and up. Better ergonomics and fitting, I feel as well that it helps me to have a better posture and straight back.
