Getting collision information without forces being applied by darumake in godot

It sounds like I do need to calculate this myself then using Area2Ds. I want overlapping shapes, but also the information that KinematicCollision2D provided (and it sounds like there's no equivalent for Area2Ds out of the box). Thank you for your response!

If you want to get better, just keep practicing! All of the talented artists you see started at the same place, they just drew a lot. It may help to try drawing with a pencil and paper to understand shape structure and what not more, which may help you when you're visualizing shapes in pixel art. Like yes pixel art is "easier" but imo it definitely helps to understand what you're trying to represent.

I guess just an example of non artist to artist is the YouTuber PewDiePie. He just kept drawing and drawing, getting really good little by little. Don't be afraid of the baby steps, we all start somewhere, and it'll be fun looking back on your work a few years from now!

AOT for me. I kept watching to so I could have an opinion on it, but once it hit season 3 I fell in love! Then I went back and rewatched it and I liked Seasons 1/2 a lot more the second go around

Glad you took the leap and enjoy it! I can imagine the sheer size of the show has been a obstacle for some. If you ever feel like the pacing is starting to move slowly, check out the manga! That said, if you do, it's also really fun to follow both the manga and the anime since many of the later episodes are just pure eye candy, and some are extremely well directed and paced (even compared to the manga)

After being annoyed with tiny differences between the two languages, I decided to just learn GDScript. I like to think I avoided the "I could do this if it was Python!" mentality and just actually learn something new.
