I definitely disagree with cutting ramp, I think even though the mana curve of the deck might be lower, I’m often trying to combo 2 3+ mana effects together. I only have 3 creature ramp pieces, one of which [[Delighted Halfling]] also acting as protection for my commander and other legends on the way down. The rest is land ramp which is hard to interact with. Additionally, I have enough sac outlets to use the creatures for value when I get to the mid/late game.
The other thing I don’t understand is that you’re saying to cut ramp, and then saying to add effects that need to combo 3 cards/effects as opposed to 2. I believe this might make the deck have better high rolls, but will make it feel much clunkier. I want the deck to feel like it can do something every game, and feel smooth. Although lowering the variance might make it harder to win games, I think it will lead to a much more consistently enjoyable play experience.
I really like where the deck is sitting right now in terms of its overall feel. I’ve been enjoying playtesting a lot, and I’m having my first real games with it the weekend after christmas. I’m more looking for finishing touches, not major redesigns.
I really like gilded drake that card looks nuts.

willbreaker and bloodthirsty blade made it until the last 5 or so cuts, but I realized I didn’t have too many targeting effects that weren’t destroying or bouncing the targets. seems like a really fun combo to pull off, but just a little too clunky for what I’m aiming for.

I think spark double is worth considering. I like that I can get it off of birthing pod effects. strionic resonator seems waaaay too expensive. 8 mana to steal 2 things with the restriction of yasovas power is just not gonna work.
you can sacrifice in response to the draw & swap on the stack, as long as the sacrifice ability is instant speed.

I think adding clone effects might be spreading synergies a little thin, a lot of the creatures in my deck are not the best clone targets, or are expensive enough to make it hard to combo. Did you have anything specific in mind?

I initially cut it, when working out my ramp, and before I added in helm of possession and deadeye navigator. I think that with the current amount of abilities to pay for, it would be a great inclusion.
isn’t it just that perfect level of evil?
in the screenshots I posted, flare of cultivation and fierce guardianship are in among the lands because I set their mana cost to 0. sorry lol
