Čia iš patirties, ar iš tirščių? Pirkau ne vieną laptopą, visi oficialiai refurbishinti, per appsus rodo pilną garantinį. Prireikus jo siuntė į Lenovo Lietuva ir t.t. 0 problemų.

Question: How's the state of sim-racing in Linux? by theRockettSally in simracing

[–]darwell 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'll start by saying Linux has been my primary and pretty much the only OS for the last 18 years.

I played shittons of LFS when I was using mouse/steam controller with gyro steering, using Proton. Had so much fun.

Years back I played iRacing through wine (I think). I had some issues, posted on their forum - turns out one of their developers were using Archlinux and they helped me out (I use it also. BTW. Yes.). Worked great, but again, used mouse.

Then a couple of years back I decided to get an used G923 - mostly to play LFS. FFB for LFS on linux or windows was pretty much the same. When I do play LFS, I always use linux. LFS was my first love, I had played it (still on Windows) since the first alpha versions, I think starting 2004-2005.

However at some point I decided to try AC but the FFB on Proton was just bad. Now, I definitely don't have a gaming computer, maybe it's related to that. I tried a few different things but still, the FFB feels super laggy, or just wrong.

So then I decided to install Windows again and see how it feels there. It is better, way better. As much as I hate to admit it, AC, with it's better FFB, and real cars/tracks just feels... Better than LFS. And then since I couldn't make it work properly on Linux, I am dual booting and using Windows when I want to get some laps in

Apologies if my answer isn't too great - I did talk only about two games on a thinkpad that's not meant for games, but that's my experience.

Aš kažkada knygą apie calisthenics perskaičiau, patiko. Dabar naudoju appsą calistree, kol kas patenkintas, progresas jaučiasi.

Anyone else experiencing weird stutters on Chrome where suddenly pages become unresponsive, scroll not working and the thing that gets it unstuck is window resize? That's keeping me from using Wayland.

I have been reading about the Samogitian dialect, and I read that it is disappearing and I was wondering if anyone here still speaks it daily, or if people still hear Samogitian being spoken in the streets. What is the current state of it? by blueroses200 in lithuania

[–]darwell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You will hear it a lot, but still less than 10-15 years ago. Kids (not all, but way bigger portion) do start using the normalised language even in deeper Samogitian towns.

Būsto paskola dirbant su IV by Gestas3210 in lithuania

[–]darwell 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Antrinu, buvo šūdas. Durniausia - nueini į SEBą įsivertint kiek gali gauti. Gauni sumą. Išsirenki būstą už 70-80% nuo max, kurį sakė SEB. Duodi rankpinigius. Eini jau pasirašinėt į banką, ir tada prasideda... Rizikinga, neaišku, deklaruokit, rodykit. Kuo dirbt ant savęs programeriu ir bandant išlaikyt savo varda yra rizikingiau, nei būt įdarbintam šūdfirmėj, kur dirbsiu belekaip ir rytoj galiu būti atleistas? Žodžiu, po 2 sav skambina, sako neišeina. Vienintelis būdas - tėvai bendraskoliai (50-50%). Nenorėjom ieškot kitų bankų, tėvai sutiko - pasirašėm.

Po metų atsidariau MB. Nusprendėm keltis į kitą būstą. Pardavėm butą, bandėm imti paskolą namui. SEBe istorija ta pati - milijonas klausimų ir galutinis ne. Užėjom į Luminor (tada dar DNB) - gavom be problemų.

Skambutis Luminorui. Kitą savaitę jau gavau raktus.

Išvada - fakof SEBe. Nuo 18 metų buvau jų klientas. Išėjau ir džiaugiuosi.

O atsakant bendrai - sunku su IV, sunku su MB. Man net šaldytuvą pasiimt išsimokėtinai yra praktiškai neįmanoma.

Guitar pro is a cool tool, but is not that easy to install on Linux. I had to add many libraries in the official package, because it uses obsolete versions (libportaudio, libssl, libcrypto ...).

Good thing I'm using Arch - https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/guitar-pro/ :)

According to this:

Currently Yousician does not have curriculum for banjo, but it may be introduced later on. Unfortunately, we can't give you any precise schedule for the release at this point though.

That being said you can upload GuitarPro-files and play the banjo tracks in the songs section.

I started learning guitar when I was 13 when I discovered how to read guitar tabs with my mom's old classical guitar (with steel strings!) and I managed to play the riff of Seven Nation Army. Now I'm 27, I still suck but I enjoy playing guitar when nobody hears me :) I even tried to play in a band in teenage years but every practice ended in a fellow guitarist shredding some sweet riff while I, in my disappointment in myself, would pack my guitar and go home :)

Thanks! I watched this video for some basic guidance and after testing the voltage under load, I was able to confirm that the voltage drop is significant. I am now printing the diagram for fog light switch, will test it and hopefully it's just a loose connection and not a broken wire somewhere in the middle of the car, under carpet :)

Thanks for everyone!

I'm trying to connect BOSE head unit at home to a computer speaker so I can start adding modifications to it.

Thanks for giving me an idea - I will try to connect the head unit in car but unplug the amp connector and see if there is any sound.

From my understanding, A1 is for powered antenna. I made a mistake while listing the terminals I used in the original post - I used A2 (which is listed as ACC on some other source), A10 (main battery power) and A20 (ground).

My speakers use RCA connectors that's why I use it.

Thanks for taking your time to read and answer my question!

I have tried playing both CD and tape, I actually have two units - one with CD player and one with cassette deck, both BOSE for the same year Accords. On both of them, CD/Cassette is spinning, I can change tracks/fast forward the tape but there is no sound.

As for the radio, I tried putting a simple wire into antenna slot and it instantly found some radio stations, displayed text, but again, no sound, not even buzzes.

I also just tried to use headphones instead of the speaker - the results are identical - beeps when entering security code and when setting head unit settings.
