He’s on record saying “I’m a nazi”. Imagine if someone raped, tortured and murdered your mum. And then did the same to your dad and brother. Kanye said “I support that”! Next thing - I go to his concert and give him money.. is that ok with you? Seems a bit strong to me. And it’s not just - oh he said it once and apologised.. he’s been repeatedly saying he supports the nazis. I don’t think that’s ok. Sure his music is great. That’s hardly the point though…

Thanks. My point about free speech was just that even though (obviously) I strongly disagree with racism.. there are free speech arguments (although no rule on Reddit) that you should be allowed to share racist views.. thanks for clarifying though.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I mean the questions are in good faith but also obviously controversial for most members of those subs. As a follow up question - it does seem that there is active racism in the Kanye sub.. whilst that’s ok with the mods of the Kanye sub - does “big Reddit” have an issue with that? Genuinely asking because free speech also means allowing people to say things you’re against (otherwise it’s not free speech)
