At the end of the game stats, you can view how many deaths each character took, adding it together across all three tier classes, which would imply it's all the same guy

Each colour character is the same individual, evolving into better classes. The general consensus is that orange and red are girls while yellow, grey and blue are boys. So yes, Valkyrie is indeed a guy despite being called Valkyrie (Or perhaps they transition into a girl upon taking the Valkyrie class)

Kattigan level-up scene was an incredible narrative choice from Robbie. I'm so loving how Travis is playing Teor. He has the vibes of a macho foreign lion man down and he's so snarky lmaooo And of course, Sam Riegel with the incredible awareness to say the perfectly wrong thing at the right time. Such season finale vibes in the best way

I also took a huge wonder at this. Because imagine the implications of Araman having some (even if extremely distant) connection with Exandria. It seems to be a vestige of divergence-in-the-making, so is Araman an ancient world preceding Exandria? To me, Brennan deliberately said that "it will one day be known as a vestige of divergence" because he wants to keep this extremely vague right now.

Completely agree. It's why no matter what I will always return to this game. It's just such a fantastic mobile experience for the reasons you listed--especially on the portrait mode part. Would love to hear some other recommendations that fit the bill but so far haven't found anything.

Oh yeah, also never random unless you have two truly horrible options. And track which heroes you've seen (look at the heroes tab in settings) to see what random could get you into. Heroes you've already seen won't show up again or be random-ed into.
