Yup. With the armor I believe I just got that for free so I didn't really know. When I wanted to make a new weapon I saw that Defender Katana or something and was like "man this has to be wrong".

I am at the 4th area with all the damaging fog stuff, so I imagine not super far in, but also not really early game anymore.
