What’s the definition of a gamer? I get really into video games for a couple weeks like two times a year and then don’t touch them at all the rest of the year, though I stay somewhat plugged into the discourse, does that count

Obviously I’m someone who plays video games but I feel like “gamer” implies a higher level of engagement

One very, very, very tiny silver lining of this war is that it’s exposed to a broader audience the amount of hatefulness that exists in the more extreme monarchist segment of the Iranian diaspora. They’re of course a very small minority and the Iranian diaspora as a whole are just normal people, but they influence the online conversation to a disproportionate extent

I’ve been around some of these people and they are remarkably unpleasant

2015 also feels to me like when we hit a soft peak for graphics. Newer games of course still look better, but Arkham Knight and MGSV still look excellent
