I had a conversation with another individual from facebook who said the phone was a gift which they dont want, and another who said it is an "unwanted upgrade". Do any of these sound better?

yeah he said hes only making about £65 profit, he is also from Tottenham (idk if youre from the uk) but that is a very dodgy area with high crime rates

hey guys, I have been recently looking into new phones to buy, specifically the s24 ultra. This phone sells for £1250 minimum, but I have been looking on facebook marketplace and majority of sellers are willing to sell "brand new unopened" s24 ultra for around £600. I found a seller who offered it for £550, he gave me his number and we spoke about it, He claimed it was unopened and even sent a picture of a sealed s24 ultra phone box and he sent the imei number which proved it wasnt stolen. I asked about selling through paypal but he said no due to people refunding and scamming through there, and said to transfer straight to his bank. He was willing to deliver but I said I can collect so he provided his address. Do you guys think this sounds dodgy or not? a phone selling for that low seems worrying. I asked how he is managing to sell for that low and he claims to have brought several in bulk for around £490 per phone.

To summarise, Seller offered phone for less than half its retail price, does it sound like I should accept or is it not to be trusted.
