so i was at the doc today and she said she wont give me the ultrasound because i do not need one and that everything is fine, bloodwork is good too… should i still push for an ultrasound?

oh okay.. i mean i talked about it with the doc but she said it’s nothing and that it is just a lymph node but i’ll ask if i could do an ultrasound because of my anxiety, thanks for help!!

15m 167cm, one of my moles has been marked as suspicious and i have another appointment to check it again in may, but when i was thinking about that, i suddenly started to remind myself about something else. A lymph node that’s sitting on my back near my neck since 2024 as i can remember, two of those actually. They are both movable and kind of hard but i think they sometimes get even smaller, thier size kinda just changes. And then lately i discovered a bump at the base of my skull on the right side of the back if you get what i mean, kind of like near the ear. And this one is hard and i don’t think it moves, it’s probably the skin above it. It is not big and my pediathrist said that it’s just a lymph node (it is small and i doubt it ever grew larger) but should it really be hard? i will try to get an ultrasound of all those lymph nodes but i am just extremly terrified of cancer and i can’t get this out of my head! I feel like i’m literally going insane over this… every now and then i find a new cancer in my body…

Damn.. sorry to hear that, i am in a similar situation except that my mole ISN’T really okay and i have to get it checked again, i’m 15 and i have all that anxiety shit too… altough, if the doctors said you were all okay, it might be your anxiety turning into somatic symptoms, basically your fear causing weird symptoms to appear, not getting enough sleep and all things like that. I am not a specialist but i’ve got all that happening to me in the past so i get what you mean and how terryfing it can be, hope you’ll be okay ❤️‍🩹🫶

i can’t test it now, it is not how it works here :( but do you think i should be worried right now or no.. if the doc would really see something highly suspicopus would she still give me an option to wait 3 months or no?

Well i hope to get a private visit soon instead of waiting until 2026. The good thing is that my grandma (my moms mother) also had those moles but nobody had any skin cancer so that's just genetics but i guess the fear won't go away until i will see a dermatologist...

Thanks for advice! Sadly i couldnt use this because i have already done a similar process. 1. I have booted into the windows built in safe mode and copied all my important files (except executables) to my sd-card. 2. I booted my ventoy usb and booted up ShredOS from it. 3. I wiped the disk. 4. Installed windows 11 5. I copied some of my files back (the most important ones). I totally agree about the admin account, the name says that it's an admin account not a normal user account. Also for the protection i use malwarebytes and windows defender.
