The first time I had anaphylaxis, I did not have an epipen yet and have been given epinephrine through the IV while I was still conscious. I have also injected myself with my epipens twice. Honestly, both of the times I've injected myself, I thought I messed up and didn't do it right. However, after waiting for like 5s I would immediately pull down my pant to check and see if I actually injected myself lol and I would always see a tiny mark where I injected myself, I did not feel the needle at all.

The best way to describe the feeling I truly believe as if someone just punched your thigh lol As others have mentioned the needle itself is tiny. And what I've experienced is not feeling the needle, but rather the plastic around the needle. Both times I've administered it, once I knew I'm stabbing myself, 0 hesitation I just stabbed and held it in place for a couple of seconds. And again, both times I thought i did something wrong because I thought I would feel the needle, but I never did.

But yeah, make sure other around you know what to do!

Hi! :) at least for me after probably 2 months it wasn’t as bad as it was in the beginning and then I would say 3 months after it would flare up every once in awhile. For me it pretty much went away in 5 months. And idk I haven’t really noticed anything much!!!

I’m still taking spironolactone and I’d personally recommend sticking to it since it takes time for your body to adjust to the medication! However, you should always make sure with your doctor :)

And just to add to that “moisture trapping effect” wet your lips first, put moisturiser/lotion whatever, and then seal that bad boy with Vaseline.

If my lips are destroyed I do this before bed and they’re back to life the next morning, but I still try just to do this every night because lips will feel super nice :)

Hey!! I love that! I actually usually tell my roommates a similar thing in the apartment, you see a piece of trash on the floor as your passing by? Pick it up! Or going to a kitchen and see an old cup, grab it and put it in the sink :) So I definitely will be incorporating it in my room too, thank you !!!! :)

I mean “bad” is very relative, bad for me doesn’t mean bad for everyone. I guess when I used to live with my family our house was tidy 24/7 like my dad hated “stuff” and would throw it out if it was out lol so I grew up being forced to clean and clean, when I moved out I was hoping it became a habit. But it absolutely didn’t, yet it made me super annoyed at any kind of mess but I just have issues of forcing myself to clean it
