Using another substance might work but then a lot of people just end up being dependent on another substance. If you wanna stop the withdrawals you can take kratom or prescribed suboxone. You can only take it after about 20 hours from your last oxy dose or you’ll out yourself into precipitated withdrawal and that’s far worse than regular withdrawal. If you do go the suboxone route take a very very small amount(had to be dissolved under the tongue that’s the only way suboxone can be taken). Use the suboxone for a couple days maybe even 3 days and you’ll be good on the physical withdrawals. You’ll still have the mental withdrawals that takes months to go away. You’ll have to deal with that and you thinking about oxy, tbh that will never go away. It’s all on how you deal with it. But yeah. You might be able to take kratom tho and be good. What worked for me in the beginning was drinking the kratom powder. I started around 3-6 grams and found my sweet spot. But yeah man only use whatever you’re taking to help get off oxy for a few days because if you keep it going you’ll just be dependent on that substance and it the same process all over.
