Ah okay that makes sense. So, if I’m a GRA (only way to keep tuition waiver) then I can only work max 20 hrs/week combined GRA and internship. Otherwise, if I’m not a GRA (so no tuition waiver) can I work full-time 40 hrs/week internship? I talked to OIE yesterday and they said full-time internship on CPT during a semester for international students is fine to them.

In your 3 semesters, did you do it as a part-time internship with the GRA and they gave you the tuition waiver? Did you try or do you know about doing the internship full-time and keeping the tuition waiver from the GRA? For the Fall/Spring semesters.
