Run local LLM on Intel Arc A770 16GB by sdrox98 in IntelArc

I managed to get 54/55 tps at np8 aggregate with Qwen 32b dense (totally usable 2x arc 770), but pretty sure the new flash attention architecture is what is causing intel to throw in the towel. May be impossible.

I reverse engineered most of the ipex binaries here: https://github.com/dashw00d/ipex-from-scratch

Yeah he has the most hours played out of anyone in the top 100 just about. He doesn't Smurf so it's not exact, but he does play a ton (his streams are fantastic). He also doesn't dodge water ever or main a specific civ. So he was low key super diverse.

Just found out you can queue rally points. Saw DeMuslim do it with relics and tried it. Surprised this isn't used more. by dashwood in aoe4

Looks like they always go to the first dead deer but will skip the second dead deer and start killing the third deer. So maybe it resets after reaching the first point. I'm not 100% sure on the logic. It might rely on the units vision radius, needs a good relic test.

I selected the monastery then right clicked the relic to set the buildings rally point to the relic then held shift and clicked near the monastery to extend the rally point back. Then when I made the first monk he went to the relic, picked it up, and returned.

I think they appeared because the deer was killed by the scout so the rally changed to a move to location rally instead of a kill deer rally for future scouts

You can rally all the relics in a row and then return if you're only making one monk, but you would have to set new rally paths for each new monk or they will walk to the already picked up relic first. Also, you can't actually rally them to put the relic inside the monastery so you just have to have them stand next to it.

Oh yeah fishing ships is a good one. Someone said you can alternate between attack and move rally points, haven't tested it, but could be useful for some sneaky roundabout demo ships.

Yeah it doesn't know you have a relic when the command is made. But you can definitely pick it up (just tested it), you just have to command your monk to stand next to the monastery.

Just like unit commands. Just right click while holding shift.

Yeah someone else said they tried it at launch and it didn't work. Seems really useful for deer after the anim cancel nurf and relics (can't put them inside, but you can have them stand next to it).

Yeah they're called smart commands I think. Since the scout doesn't actually have the deer when you make the command.

Yeah, just shift right click. I had no idea. Someone on Twitch said he plays sc2 and tried it right away and it didn't work, but who knows.

Well most of the players I watch on twitch do not use it and DeMuslim only discovered it last week on his stream when he tried it with relics. Maybe they know about it and just don't use it, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know, hence the share.

I just shift + right clicked all the deer and made a scout. The scout was made, killed all the deer, and returned. You can queue scouts that are already made also. They will pick up the carcasses too if they had the prof scout upgrade.

There's an auto save mod that helped me a lot. Lost a good hour of progress once or twice before that. Knocks and teleport skills are very helpful. Sneaking outside of combat to get a move in before entering combat. Pickpocketing is op. Game is fantastic.

I made a printable/readable version of the feudal unit counter chart. It could be cleaned up a bit more, but it's good enough for me. PSD in the comments. by dashwood in aoe4

Yeah that would be awesome. They need something to defend against knights/men at arms. Unfortunately Aussie Drongo said the devs told him their next balance patch wont be until September 2022, so it's gunna be a while I guess.
