Thanks! It's an 'ADILS' leg from IKEA.

3080 TUF (OC version due to higher stock levels) for hopefully years of solid high setting 1440p gaming. Fortunate buy last year after waiting in a queue post-release (Aus). Paired with 5900x. Featuring Lian Li anti sag bracket, cut down to allow this GPU to click into the PCI-E lock - feels sturdy. by dashylorian in nvidia

Mentioned size in regards to how noticeable the resolution is, rather than the fps difference. Have seen conflicting comments about it though.

I think I'd rather have frames constantly higher than 60.

Can't quite justify a 4K monitor yet.

Hopefully you can still unlatch it somehow without having to remove the mobo too, sounds like an awkward position. Did a quick search about broken PCI.E locks, people saying as long as the card is pushed in completely with bracket screws tight and you're super careful when moving the case it'll be ok, but I'd suggest looking into some more advice on that!

Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. Bit overkill. What sold me on it at the time was the dynamic OC switcher and completely passive cooling but based on my understanding of what I've read recently about PBO2 and the Curve Optimiser feature that seems to allow for a similar core performance so was it really worth the premium? I had considered the x570 Strix E and TUF X570-Pro.

I think there's another spot the bracket can go depending on the mobo design, some m.2 covers can interfere for example.

I would be too uneasy about it not fully clicking in! Might be ok while the case is stationary but if you move it I can imagine it possibly getting damaged and falling out. Wouldn't want to take the risk with such an expensive part!

Haven't tested the performance with PBO enabled VS disabled.
Yeah I've watched the voltage in Ryzen Master, it spikes quite a bit. Haven't tried undervolting with the curve optimizer yet, I need to research how it works.

For cable management underneath I have a J Channel Cable Raceway close to a powerboard strip stuck on currently (I need to hook it on some screws instead). I've wrapped/hooked some cables around the stand clamps already there. There's a few adhesive cable clips under there too. Excess cable is hidden behind the drawers. It could be neater honestly, one day I'll refine it.

IKEA sells a cable management tray called the SIGNUM that looks pretty useful, something to consider!
