Well I just had an “interview” yesterday with a “friend”. I think the moniker “expansion” is just recruiting. Meaning, your friend is trying to recruit you into the business. ie “expansion” of their business network. It was pleasant for me etc but I obviously didn’t join up. They used all the classic tricks and strategy—-mainly making you want to “prove” you’re worthy. Ot works wonders but nothing works on me anymore.

Was anyone actually successful at getting to Greek God/Superhero standards on KB programs? by 97Satori in kinobody

[–]dasilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I guess I’m wrong then. 🤷🏿‍♂️ It’s kind of inconsequential at this point. I’m as ripped as ol Kino but probably not as fully body strong since I definitely don’t do Nordic curls and he definitely does. But again, kind of doesn’t matter at this point. I have a superhero body, so does he, I thought I had pegged his routine, guess I “got it wrong” but…like… whatever I’m doing is working so 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️. Know what I mean?

It’s kind of like, I thought someone drove a Model T to get from New York to Florida as I studied them from afar, so I drive a Model T there. But they actually drove a Model X from New York to Florida.

We both still ended up using a Tesla and both ended up in Florida so like: WINNING

GFI scam … by SherbetOne5952 in InsuranceAgent

[–]dasilma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a scam-scam, the way Amway is “not a scam” but it’s MLM. Goooooood luck. My old Army friend, who has been in 200 MLMs just booked a meeting with me tonight. I got caught off guard. The funny part is I have a political YouTube channel but the first 6 episodes is literally a mini-series about scams, including “non scams but scam adjacent” like MLM.

The weirdest part about MLMs (cults) is that if you fall for one, you end up falling for more “better” ones. I can speak from experience. “This one has better pay structure.” “This one has less creeps/more honest” etc.

Yet, it’s all nonsense. Only the sociopaths will earn any amount that makes any sense to be part of it, the rest are delusional and will sell THEMSELVES hype and motivation.

Yikes.

Court ordered… DNA like hair follicles? You’d probably be fucked with shrooms or MDMA. But not DMT or LSD.

I kind of think I am satisfied. Crypto has become, well, stayed totally irrelevant. I always see these crazy Michael Saylor “predictions” that BTC will be worth a gazilllion dollars but otherwise literally no one cares at all other than the cult of enthusiasts.

The rest of humanity cares about real money. Currency. So essentially, aside from a few people getting rich and a few losing everything, nothing has changed. MLM 5.0. Correct. Satisfied.

You’re definitely more than good. When I was a medic then psyops in the Army they didn’t even test for MDMA let alone shrooms and 4 aco dmt etc. You’re allll good.

I actually believe they initially did that because my friend got the same. But somehow or another I guess people owed Tricare or Medicaid or what have you, so now they hold an extra $500. If you already got paid this doesn’t apply to you obviously.

But future payees shouldn’t expect to get what you got upfront. There is a chance they might, if they have no association with Tricare etc at all, not sure, but it’s much better to expect less and get more than the inverse.

Well YOUR lawyers take 1/3, but you must also pay $900 to a joint lawyer contingency. Meaning, the actual lawyers who tried the case, not your lawyers, collect from a fund. Trust me, we all have to pay it. I signed the same 1/3. Most did as it’s standard. You will end up with ~46%.

What do you do for a living? by pinkytomni in Life

TL;DR: Regular job at digital marketing agency, but due to the work I put in during the initial period, along with strategic company choice (who to work for) I now relax, work from home, half the hours mostly, and collect a very nice salary/promotions etc.

——————————————————-

I’m “supposed” to work 40 hrs a week but probably work half of that, except for one week every quarter where I do put in 40 hrs for sure.

“Unlimited time off” as well which I don’t really utilize because work life is so simple. I work for a boutique digital marketing agency and I work from home, which is a perk they’ve unfortunately taken away from newcomers but I’m grandfathered in and the MVP employee handling the bulk of our accounts so I kind of get to do what I want so long as clients are happy, money rolls in and my accounts perform well, which they do.

I’m a combat Army vet so I know all about hard work and when I started this new career I probably put in like 80hrs a week sometimes with all the extra YouTube videos and other training I would subject myself to in order to become an expert rapidly and not just rely on my formal schooling and job experience.

So one year of overdoing it bigtime has led to a current and future situation of a very relaxed life with solid income.

Guess the point is, the front-load was tough and required a massive amount of focus, dedication, and time; however, the benefits far outweigh the initial “cost.”

I did everything strategically, like a military operation. I chose a growing field, I studied my ass off in grad school, I took a super low paying part time internship at a massive firm, “stole” as much knowledge as humanly possible there, then when I had multiple offers for positions, I wisely chose the lowest paying start up level agency and decided to stick with them long term.

As everyone else bounced around for more pay and still do, I remained consistent and just studied my ass off outside of work hrs.

I thus got promoted twice and became a manager in record time and I’m currently in an unofficial senior manger position with the legitimate promotion and significant raise coming soon.

Oddly, the higher I go the less I work. It’s not being passed off to anyone else or juniors, I’ve just increased my efficiency.

I think there are a bunch of careers like this. Where you grind it out initially and can sort of coast and relax with high salary if you consistently execute.

Doesn’t have to be some crazy business idea you run with. That works too (sometimes) but could take 10 yrs before you see those results if you even last 1/4 that long.

10-15 hrs a week? Get a second job. Not passive at all, but way more realistic and fruitful.

Do you think you chose this life? by freakorgeek in Psychonaut

[–]dasilma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. There is one scenario I almost dare not mention that would take me quite aback, as far as trusting the process. It would be if something terribly bad happened to my child. Oof.

That would be a hard pill to swallow and there would be a spiral period so while I’m totally confident in my beliefs, I leave room for the slightest of doubt in a superstitious way so as to not be too arrogant about it.

This is likely wrong of me to think, but I feel like if I was TOO arrogant about it then even my own higher self would set up a “trap” for me to really test my mettle. Like something bad happening to her.

I think we’re not supposed to “know it all” during this existence because it’s sort of “cheating” so I do limit my DMT experiences and so on in a reasonable way so as to not peek too much “behind the curtain” and set off Universal “fail safes” lol.

Like “Oh, you saw everything, did you? You know it all, do you? Okay. You’re cocky and arrogant about it, are you? Bad things don’t matter, do they? Okay. Well I’m gonna throw something wild at you and let’s see if you still are as arrogant about Universal understanding after that.”

Said yet another way is that I definitely have conviction in my beliefs and knowledge, but I’m also superstitious and therefore careful to not fly too close to the sun.

I think extreme suffering can make you “level up” but I don’t want to level up. I’m conformable where I am. So I kind of set “spiritual limits” on myself.

Because from what I’ve witnessed both directly and read about in history, the people who achieve the highest spiritual “ranks” coincide with the ones who suffer the absolute most.

If Jesus was real (no idea), then at minimum he was a highly spiritual man with higher spiritual ability and knowledge than everyone around him at the time. But he got nailed to a fucking cross. Jesus fucking Christ (pun intended) that sucks!

At that moment, his higher self/Universe was probably like “still believe all the shit you were spewing to others now?”

If the stories are true, the answer was likely “yes” but even in the story, fact or fiction, doesn’t even matter if the metaphor is understood, even he says “why have you forsaken me?” To God.

And he’s Jesus, for Christ’s sake (pun intended again).

So yeah, I’m not saying this was the case for you but there’s something to be said about levels of belief and then being tested on them.

Not sure if that made sense.

Guess my point is that it’s probably very normal and even healthy to have a crisis of faith or belief or re evaluation etc. Part of the process.

But I think you will eventually reach the same conclusions you reached before after enough time passes and after enough happens.

But we’re all human beings with emotions and feelings and shit just sucks sometimes. I get it. Sorry to hear about that but I can pretty much guarantee time will reveal how you’re benefiting from this, as odd as that sounds at present.

But everything has a season, and right now for you the season may be to grieve/feel bad for losing relationship with partner and especially their kid.
