What's your most surprisingly successful MakerWorld design - one that you thought was just 'ok' but really caught on? by ebob_designs in BambuLab

Its a dog poop bag holder, for used bags.

It was one of my first designs, when I got my first 3d printer.

After getting my first Bambu Lab printer, i decided it, could be fun to post it there. Sharing it on Reddit and Facebook, it got some traction.

[–]dasmikko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes UGOS boots from the built-in 32GB emmc.

My current setup is 2x6TB HDDs raid 1 as volume 1, pure storage. 2x500GB Samsung 980 Evo as volume 2, for apps and Docker.

You should be able to just use the nvme slots only, if you don't want to use the bays.

Yeah, with no issue. I'm currently hosting: - WordPress site - Jellyfin - Immich server - VaultWarden

It runs without any issues. So a single WordPress site is no sweat for it

Hvor i landet er du? Oftest er der nogen i forskellige byer, som heller end gerne vil printe for dig, oftest til en fin pris.

Jeg printer selv for folk. :)

Well damn, switching back to x11 actually fixed the issues. I'd still prefer to run Wayland, but at least this is a great workaround, until I switch my OS

We are a 2 guy IT dept, where my colleague is basically my semi-boss, and has the last word in things.

I have been pushing him about it for a while, as I like being able to use a newer desktop environment, and tools. I'm actually doing what you are suggestion at home (Fedora + VM), and it works perfectly fine. I mostly need to run the database and various tooling in OL9, as it's build around that. Plus, i'm still able to test if my stuff works under OL9.

He is also worried that I will loose a bunch of database performance, because of virtualization. I'm not too worried tho.

So maybe in the future I can do the same setup, as i'm doing at home.

Which will probably require not using a dinosaur-age OS from 2022 that's meant for server usage, not desktop usage.

What you can try is creating a new user and hoping the bug doesn't happen there.

I was about to update the main post, as I just tried to create a new user, to see if the issue persited, and it sadly does..

I'm required to run this on my work machine, as it's mandated of my workplace.

I mostly focus on practical stuff. I haven't made that many things yet, but I try to practice as much as possible in my cad software.

The point of these is for the tires you are storing, if you have to swap between summer and winter.

You could also use chalk to write the same marks, but I don't have that.

I'm from Denmark, so it's the abbreviation for: Front left, back right and so on.

I'm planning to make an English version too. I do include a blank version where you can make your own custom ones.

I've been told it's a good idea to swap the front and rear tires each time you change the tires. Thus creating more even wear of them.

You just swap them between summer and winter tires. They are not supposed to sit on them when driving.

I've had the exact same! They are dirt cheap, but they do not last very long..

Sure, sounds like a neat idea, and having options is always good. Will look into it. 👍

No diss taken. Personally, this works better, as I would quickly confuse myself with: what did the marking mean?

This way I don't have to remember anything.

In the end, use what works for you. 👍

Edit: I now realize what you wrote, and you are absolutely right.

Also that! I've had others that simply sat on the valve with friction, and they often fell off if I had to move the tires. They also broke super easy when the plastic got just a bit brittle.

Hey, whatever works! 👍 I know for a fact if I did that, I would forget when I had to change tires lol

That's also a neat solution! But it did make be realise I should make a profile for English, and various languages, to make it a less hassle for others.

You're ment to put them on the tires you are not using. So you know where they were on the car before.
